Pizzeria Il Ciocco — Restaurant in Moneglia

Extremely rude server. First night she started nice, then at the end of our meal she said "no finito" when we tried to order their Tiramisu. That was all okay but very confusing when we were paying because another server came and took out the plate for the Tiramisu to serve 3 plates for other customers.

Second night she would clean the tables around us and the counter while the 5 of us would try to order tiramisu. 10 min she didn't even look at us. We paid our dinner and left without tasting their desserts. This is the first time I get service like this and I've been to 100s of restaurants in 11 countries.

I'd give 0 stars, but the pizza was good and the other staff were nice and extremely polite.

Creative and absolutely delicious!

We’ve been regulars here for years, and this place has never let us down — but this time, they truly outdid themselves! The new pizza Dorothy made with eggplant paste instead of tomato sauce is a brilliant idea. It’s bold, creative, and the flavor is incredible. The paste is smooth, well-seasoned, and pairs beautifully with the toppings.

You can really tell there’s passion and creativity behind the kitchen. It’s exciting to see even long-time favorites evolve with such thoughtful twists. We’re already looking forward to...

We had pizza here twice in a row and considering that we only stayed in Moneglia two nights, this should say it all. Probably up with the best pizza I have had on this trip to Italy, the staff is great too, even though they were fully booked on the first night, the owner went out of his way to get us seated after a very short wait.
