Must stop in Monopoli! They have the freshest food, everything has been so delicious we went two days in a row and picked up takeaway to eat at our accomodation. The hosts are amazing and this was the only place open because all the shops closed for the afternoon and it did not disappoint. Fresh, well priced, and well worth the visit. I am sorry, but this was probably the worst restaurant we visited in Italy. Lazagne and chicken heated in microvawe (the kitchen was closed due to siesta) were distasteful. Even my kids who usually like this kind of food...
