Vineria Miriu — Restaurant in Monte/Monti

We turned up around 2:30pm on a Tuesday, desperately looking for somewhere to eat and slowly losing hope. The wonderful host Patrizia, began by giving us directions to the towns main restaurant. It turned out this was closed, so we returned to the winery where Patrizia proceeded to lay on a fantastic spread for us, catering for the needs of a pescatarian very well and serving us their amazing wines. Abbiamo scoperto questa enoteca completamente per caso. Avevamo una prenotazione al ristorante „Stella“ di fronte, ma siamo arrivati un po’ in anticipo e abbiamo deciso di prendere un bicchiere di vino qui – e siamo rimasti davvero entusiasti.

La ragazza che ci ha servito non parlava molto bene l’inglese, ma era incredibilmente gentile e attenta. L’atmosfera è fantastica: le luci, i mobili, la decorazione – tutto scelto con grande gusto. Ci siamo sentiti così a nostro agio che siamo stati quasi tristi di doverci alzare e andare via. Se avessimo avuto più tempo, saremmo sicuramente tornati più volte.

Il vino era eccellente e servito in bicchieri bellissimi. Un ringraziamento speciale va alla ragazza (o forse al proprietario): la mia collana d’oro si è aperta, il ciondolo è caduto, e lei ce l’ha portato personalmente al ristorante. Les 2 restos de Monti que notre B&B nous avait conseillés étaient complets 😕... Mais par chance, en nous baladant dans le centre à la recherche d'un endroit où manger, nous sommes tombés sur ce bar à vins... Nous n'étions pas sûrs de pouvoir y manger mais ils proposent de nous servir un assortiment d'en-cas variés et vraiment très bons : charcuterie, fromage + pain, raviolis fourrés à la viande... puis desserts : biscuits amaretto très frais et excellents ou glace avec fruits frais ... Nous leur avons fait total confiance pour cet apéritif dînatoire aussi bien pour les vins que pour la nourriture et la soirée (que l'on pensait gâchée car restos complets) s'est avérée être une excellente soirée pour un prix très doux. À 4, 9 verres de vin, 2 liqueurs, en-cas salés et desserts 98 euros. Une excellente adresse à découvrir dans un cadre magnifique chic et soigné ou sur la jolie placette assis confortablement dans des canapés (ce qui était notre cas vu la saison) Accueil...
