Osteria BardoVino — Restaurant in Montescudaio

I've been here 3 times now: 2 times as a couple and one time as a big group (20 people). All times were AMAZING, and credits to the team with a group of 20, as everything went smoothly. This time we stayed 45 minutes away from the restaurant, but believe me: it's worth the drive! The food: simply delicious & so tasteful. This restaurant shows the simplicity of the Italian & Tuscan kitchen. Good wines and the staff, especially the hostess, are superb. We spent about 50eu per person (and with this we went all out, all types of dishes and lot's of wine, dessert and coffee), but you can easily eat here for 25-40eu per person as well.

Our recommendations: anything of the menu of the day, especially bistecca & pasta tartufo. Also: the parmigiana and tartare for starters, pasta cingale (wild boar) as primi and the beef stew as secundi. Love this place, wish I could eat here every week. ❤️ Can't wait till the next time,...

The best meal we had in Tuscany I am glad that we didn’t miss it as we told ourselves that we will definitely go back when we visit Tuscany again! A menu with great options for pasta and meat - we managed to try three pasta - the papadelle with wild boar sauce, black seafood sauce pasta and the special of the day - red shrimp spaghetti. All of them are sooooo tasty in particular the last one (I wanted to lick the plate). The florentina steak was the best we have ever had! Service was lovely - everyone was so warm and friendly even if we couldn’t speak Italian. They even gave my daughter a special surprise when they knew it was her birthday. Love love love this place! Best restaurant you'll find, with wonderful food, great service and atmosphere. The menu is a delight of high quality Tuscan / Italian classics, add to that a great choice of pizzas, and a specials board which is regularly updated, all meaning that there is something for everyone. Plenty of vegetarian options too, and they can also cater for other needs on request. Book early in order not to be disappointed as this place is super popular.
