This may have been “the find” of our whole trip to Italy. Did ten seconds of research online which pointed us here. They were not really open when we arrived at 7 pm or so but promptly turned in the lights and invited us in. The waiter spoke no English and my Italian is sorely lacking but despite the communication challenges we had an unforgettable and thoroughly enjoyable experience. We found this little place by accident, we saw it was crowded by local people and checked out the menu. Local prices and local dishes. The people working there are really proud at their Abruzzo dishes, it was really cute, they even offered us some sheep cheese on the house. Definitely check out their agnus beef, arosticini and local pasta. I wish I had some room left in my stomach to try the pizza. What an experience! We traveled through the whole of italy but this place we will remember forever. See you next...

La location è carina…. nella piazzetta sul belvedere, ma la serata non è stata altrettanto… Al momento della prenotazione dico che la mia amica celiaca aveva trovato da loro una pizza senza glutine ed aveva mangiato degli antipasti sfiziosi…. mi dicono che la pizza c’è ma non fanno gli antipasti se non su prenotazione ci sono solo i taglieri di affettati e formaggi e gli arrosticini. Arriviamo e gli arrosticini sono solo quelli normali…. no fatti a mano e niente fegato…. ☹️ La mia amica celiaca non ha trovato nulla per lei (niente pizza, focaccia e neanche un po’ di pane). I taglieri non sono bastati per tutti e a parte un buon pecorino il resto assolutamente nella media e….. sorpresa c’era l'emmenthal 😳 quando mai in un tagliere di formaggi in Abruzzo si è visto l’emmenthal…..!!! Gli arrosticini senza infamia e senza lode. Il massimo è stato quando abbiamo chiesto un altro po’ di birra ed il cameriere ci ha portati altri due litri, abbiamo fatto presente che non avevamo chiesto due litri e lui con fare molto infastidito ci ha portato come avevamo ordinato la prima volta e non gli avevamo specificato che ne volevamo meno…. si girato e se ne è andato molto seccato.
