Annarè — Restaurant in Naples

Great place to eat pizza near the airport. Different choices for all tastes, we ate the recommended pizza and both were spectacular! We also have a local beer and coke, in addition they serve wine and other beverages like coffee. They do accept credit card. They were really friendly and gave us suggestions for the pizza. The place is small, max 15 persons but that is the secret about this place, they really take their time to serve you the best possible pizza, so be patient, it is worth it. Arrived at 10:55pm, five minutes before closing, as they were packing up the patio. We were afraid we would go hungry after arriving on a late flight and walking as quickly as we could for 15 minutes to get there in time. To our surprise the friendly owner Massimo welcomed us to order a couple of pies to go with help from his translation app. The pizzas hit the spot and at a very reasonable price. We were only in Naples briefly to rent a car at the airport and drive to Tuscany but we wanted to get pizza before leaving. Pizzeria Annarè was close to the airport and had good reviews so we figured we would give it a try. It was delicious! The place is small and casual and no one spoke any english but we were able to order just fine - a margherita and, because they were out of the burata, the genovese, which was suggested by the server. He said (in italian) that it was a Naples special so we just said “si!”. Both pizzas were absolutely incredible. Would come back...
