I honestly don’t get why this place is as highly rated as it is, tldr: the service was slow and the food was way too expensive for what it was in both quantity and quality.
Pictures show the food we got. The spaghetti with tomato sauce cost 15 euros and clearly came with approximately 2 bites of spaghetti. To justify that price, that better be the best 2 bites of spaghetti in the entirety of Italy but it was also extremely far from that.
The pizza was a better deal quantity wise for 12 euros. It was comparatively more tasty than the tomato pasta but tasted burnt.
Furthermore, it took an inordinate amount of time to receive our food. From taking our order to getting it, it took an hour.
Making matters worse, the server was extremely rude. She came out pointing at us and handed us our food as if we were accused of a crime. They even mixed up our orders and handed the wrong food to the wrong people.
As sketchy as the area around the Holiday Inn may be, if I were to redo the night’s meal plans, I’d still hike myself through the streets at night to get pizza from another restaurant instead. Your tastebuds, patience, and wallet will thank you all the better for it. Would give this a 0/5 stars if possible, I’d avoid at all costs! If you think the biggest scam in Naples are the pickpockets, you would be wrong for forgetting this...
Read moreThe Bar and restaurant services located inside the Holiday Inn Napoli were amazing. Ciro is a true master of his craft, BEST cocktails I had in Italy were in the Hotel bar/Bistrot Napoli. The service provided by Ciro, Giuseppe, and all of the wait staff was exceptional! Will definitely come back the next time...
