Let me start with the conclusion: I absolutely love this pizzeria — especially the people here.

Today is my last day in Naples. Unfortunately, I only discovered this place last night when I went out to buy a drink. I thought I wouldn’t have time to try it, but by chance, it started raining today and I was tired, so I decided to head back to my accommodation early. However, I didn’t have my keys with me, so I had to eat somewhere first — and luckily, I ended up at this pizzeria. See? It must be fate between me and this place.

When I got my pizza, it was still raining lightly. I thought, “Well, I can just bear with it and get a little wet.” But shortly after I sat down, two men came out and moved my table and chair under the tent, and even brought a towel from inside to dry the chair for me. Later, they also gave me a few napkins. I was genuinely touched. I love pizza, and I’m not a food critic so I can’t tell you in fancy words how it tasted — but to me, it was perfect. Especially fresh out of the oven: the basil leaves were crispy, which I loved, and the tomatoes were roasted to perfection, juicy and full of flavor.

The prices here are also great — I bought a drink as well, and together with the pizza it was only €7. That means even if you’re not really into pizza, the price alone makes it worth trying. But if you do love pizza, then this place is the perfect choice.

After finishing (and normally I can only eat half, but out of respect for the pizzeria and for the pizza itself, I finished the whole thing), I didn’t know where to throw the pizza box — since in Naples the trash seems to be sorted. At that moment, an elderly gentleman came over, took me into the shop, spoke to the lady at the counter, and then a handsome man came over and said, “Give me the box.” They even thanked me.

When I stepped outside, the elderly gentleman said to me, “Naples is beautiful.” Yes — it truly is. I love this city so much!

I’ve always wanted to come to Naples. My friends once asked me why, and back then I didn’t like that question — when you like something, you just do, there’s no need for a reason. But now, I think I have an answer: it’s because this place is beautiful. Every street feels like a scene from a movie. The people are wonderful — I want to be with them like family. The food is amazing, so good that I can eat twice as much as usual.

I will definitely come back — maybe in autumn, maybe in winter, maybe in spring. The time is uncertain, but one thing is for sure: I’ll be back at this...

Mixed Experience — Decent Pizza but Pricey to Eat In

First visit: Came with my family — the pizzas looked fantastic but taste-wise I’d rate them around 6/10. Staff were friendly and we really appreciated being served by someone who spoke English. What surprised us was the bill: two Margheritas, one beer, one Coke and one water came to roughly €35 — turns out there’s a €2.50 per person sit-down charge plus taxes, which we hadn’t realised.

Second visit: We were staying at the nearby Holiday Inn, and since everything else in this business district was closed, we returned — this time for take-away. Interestingly, the pizzas were much better, closer to 8/10, and of course cheaper without the dine-in surcharge.

Overall: A bit hit-and-miss, but a convenient option if you’re staying nearby and everything else is shut.

Tip: Evenings can get very busy — consider ordering delivery or take-away to avoid the added...

We started the journey with a true Napolitano pizza and we liked it so much we came back 2 weeks later. Our holiday was started and finished with Nanas pizzeria. The food is delicious, with the richest tomatoes we have tasted all holiday the quality was by far the best. Then let's talk about our host Antonio. He was simply amazing, he was kind, attentive and immediately got us everything we needed.

We are sure he has let us in a little before officially opening too! We had our heavy bags and he said sit anywhere, this is your home. He made us feel very welcome.

Thank you so much for a great experience. If you aren't sure where to eat in naples, look no further. This...
