La Scottona was a wonderful place. Just got into Naples and was looking for something near to our hotel for dinner. We were thinking pizza and it looked pretty good.
Looking for pizza, our waiter, was upfront and told us not to, they are known for their meat. I got the T-Bone and wife the fillet. Even in the US, this is most likely the best we have ever had.
Also, the waiter was kind enough to recommend us the desserts and we're phenomenal (and I'm not a big cheesecake person). This was the best.

This was even more annoying since I hadn’t even been able to eat the whole steak, it was so hard and dry. Read moreFor all the red meat lovers passing by Italy, more precisely in the region of Napoli and very close to the Amalfi Coast is located the restaurant La Scottona. The front door is not that good, however the restaurant offers lunch and dinner in large portions and at competitive prices for all budgets. As a starter, just like most of the Italian restaurants they serve buffalo mozzarella. After the starter, a wonderful bruschetta was served, prepared with salads, side dishes and a wonderful spicy gorgonzola sauce. In the end, a dessert was served and it was so good, that I repeated the same dish twice. Congratulations to the chef and the restaurant owner, it was all great and I hope to be back soon.
Per tutti gli amanti della carne rossa di passaggio in Italia, più precisamente nella regione di Napoli e vicinissimo alla Costiera Amalfitana si trova il ristorante La Scottona. La porta d'ingresso non è così buona, tuttavia il ristorante offre pranzo e cena in porzioni abbondanti ea prezzi competitivi per tutte le tasche. Come antipasto, proprio come la maggior parte dei ristoranti italiani, servono mozzarella di bufala.
