Madaleo — Restaurant in Naples

Myself and two others came to Naples on a trip from Australia. We searched up where to find some good seafood for lunch, and Madaleo came up. We certainly were not disappointed, we were greeted with their Sunday afternoon lunch banquet option, and the hosts took our (very) poor Italian proficiency in stride and were incredibly patient and helpful. This restaurant has spectacularly good food. They have fresh food every day. The menu differs from one day to the next, they don't make the same food every day. They create new recipes every day, which I think is very good. They have fresh fish every day, fresh seafood. We went to eat before leaving for the airport, it was closed. But the owner served us a spectacular tuna salad like we've never eaten before, even though the place wasn't open yet. It was a good experience. We will definitely come back to try...

We visited this place a month ago, and the food was really delicious — even though we didn’t have high expectations at first. The portions were quite big, but what surprised us most was how kind and flexible the owner was. He was happy to adjust some dishes from the menu based on our preferences, since we couldn’t eat certain ingredients.
