We chose to eat here for 3 days in a row already. The food is excellent. The staff speaks English and service and attitude are as excellent as the food.
We have been trying out a wide variety of dishes from their menu. It is ALL excellent. From the meat to the pasta and salads, it seems to us that it's all sprinkled with respect for the eater and love for food. Portion size and presentation too. Everything looks and tastes fresh. No exagerrate embelishments, just elegant plating that shows there is nothing to hide; just honest real food and skilful cooking.
And a special note fot Dutch review readers: The olive oil they use is REAL. And it tastes so good on the extra bread one gets while waiting for the food. I guess the quality of olive oil is a basic pride in all of Italy, but the average Dutch person like ourselves, doesn't know what olive oil should taste like! Though, now that we know, we know!
The desert choice is limited in numbers but that is only because they serve the top 5 (italian) desert recipes. We haven't felt like the choice is insufficient. Each one is a feast on the taste buds and makes you smile in enjoyment. Not just being poetic here.
We didnt realise we had to make reservations at first but they didnt make a problem of it. Even though they were fully booked. We have felt welcome since day 1. Of course, after finding out we have made reservations beforehand too, respectfully.
The ambience is simple elegance. It doesnt feel cheap, nor neglected. It feels clean and maintained and the little table lights have such a pkeasant glow in the evening. The separate fans above each table show the care and importance the restaurant sets for their customers.
I suppose everyone's experience is subjective to a degree, but I really do not have one minus to mention. If there are, then they drop into insignificance compared to all of the positives.
Even the bunch of crickets that make a lot of noise ehen eating outside are not a nuisance to us..they add to the Meditteranean atmosphere. It helps also to have a bit of conversation privacy. And it's still possible to hear very well, each person...
Read moreInside of a local sporting club, we loved everything about this place and we ended up coming back twice. First night we arrived late night to our airbnb after a long drive and they were opened. The hostess and servers were super nice to us always with a smile in the face and with cordial service. We had pizza and local wines and both were fabulous! Prices quite fair and will come back for sure! Best place...
Bravi!
