We just returned home from a week in beautiful Neive, where there is no shortage of spectacular restaurants. The tagline of Umano is “cucina and parole”. ( kitchen and words) Except there really are no words to adequately explain how dinner at Umano makes you feel, except to say that after our first dinner there, we decided to go back again to culminate our month long European gastronomic adventure. The food, the service and the ambiance are stellar. Max, the owner, ensures that every step of the meal is perfection, and you feel like you are casually eating a 5 star meal in his home. Do not miss an opportunity to spend an evening with Max and his talented staff at Umano. You will want to go back...

The food itself has a modern and yet familiar presentation. This is a restaurant you’ll want to go back to again and again and again. The bone marrow, carpaccio, and truffle pasta are enthusiastically recommended. They gave a great...
