Our visit to Donna Selvatica Restaurant was an absolute treat! The panoramic view from the restaurant was breathtaking, offering a picturesque backdrop that added to the overall experience. The dishes featuring truffles were simply outstanding, and the pasta dish we had was a true delight. Each bite was infused with the rich, earthy flavors of the truffles, leaving us craving for more. The wine list was equally impressive, with a wide selection that complemented our meal perfectly. The attentive staff made our evening even more enjoyable, providing excellent service throughout. We highly recommend Donna Selvatica Restaurant for anyone seeking a wonderful dining experience in Cuneo!

It's 3.5* : The food was good, but the waiting time for getting orders, coffee, bill were too long. We also had an unpleasant situation when two people from our booked table couldn't join last minute, and maitre d' started saying to us that we would need to pay cover charge for those two who didn't come, because restaurant is otherwise fully booked and is loosing money on what otherwise would be paying customers... This didn't leave good impression. Also the coperto itself costing €5 per person is quite high. And they also charge extra €5 shall you wish to order any dish for sharing (I guess whoever washes plates in this restaurant charges per plate).

Siamo stati in questo ristorante e l’esperienza è stata nel complesso molto positiva: la cucina è curata, i piatti ben preparati e il conto assolutamente nella norma. Anche l’ambiente è piacevole e contribuisce a rendere la serata gradevole. L’unico appunto riguarda la gestione della prenotazione: quando ho chiamato, avevo richiesto espressamente un tavolo con vista panoramica, in particolare davanti alla vetrata, perché stavamo festeggiando il compleanno del mio fidanzato. Mi era stato assicurato che tutti i tavoli godevano di una bella visuale, quindi mi sono fidata. Purtroppo, al nostro arrivo, i tavoli con vista erano già occupati e ci è stato assegnato un tavolo più defilato, dal quale non si poteva apprezzare lo spettacolo del tramonto, che sarebbe stato davvero speciale in un’occasione così. Ho segnalato la cosa al momento del conto, ma mi è stato risposto che la mia richiesta non risultava annotata. Un peccato, perché con un po’ più di attenzione a questo dettaglio la serata sarebbe stata perfetta. Nonostante ciò, resta un ristorante che consiglio per la qualità del cibo, la location e il giusto rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Atmosphere great. Mains were highly disappointing. My partner and I both ordered the gnocchi and it was plain and dull. We politely told the server, who was up until we expressed discontent very attentive. Once we complained, he avoided us. He offered no compensation and we still were charged full price (total €120). For dessert we ordered the tiramissu. Again, their "version of tiramissu" as the server termed it was some bread pieces, chocolate bits, and ice cream topped with espresso (basically the recipe for tiramissu in its parts) thrown together in a bowl. No inspiration. Lazy construction on behalf of the chef. This review only gets two stars because of the view. Would not recommend this...

Did this place change management? There are a lot of great reviews, but the food is absolutely brutal. Utterly flavorless and ill-conceived dishes. Absolutely no seasoning in any dish. Tastelessness aside, the green insalata Russa centered around a wad of graying avocado, chunks of raw celery, and a tuft of confusing foam akin to Dove dish soap is an insult to the entire country of Italy. The rest was not good, but this was the only part that actually made me mad. The staff were kind and the setting/view are lovely, but the food is just exceptionally bad in a region brimming with terrific cuisine. It was the only unpleasant meal during a two-week stretch in Piedmont. Expensive...
