Bosco Della Serenissima — Restaurant in Nervesa della Battaglia

The positive was that the beds were comfy and the rooms were clean HOWEVER, the hotel is extremely unsafe. We were on the ground floor, so we checked if our windows were closed and locked before we left in the morning. When we returned late that evening, we found that the bathroom window had been unlocked and was opened enough so that someone would be able to enter from outside. We didn't have any valuables in our room thank goodness, but it didn't feel safe. On top of that we didn't see staff during our entire stay. A big group of rowdy teenagers blocked the area where we could find our keys, which meant we spend over 15 minutes searching and messaging to find the key. They use nuki, digital keys on your phone, which means that if your phone is out of battery or the wifi is out (which happened during a storm) you cannot access the building or your room. Also,Nuki is extremely hackable. The promised breakfast didn't exist and the attached restaurant didn't have anything available for sale either. The giant parking lot gets used by random people like road work trucks and such and restaurant guests, which lead us to have to wait in the car for quite a while for someone to leave the restaurant to be able to park.

All in all NOT a good experience. We were there to visit Ai Pioppi, which was awesome, but next time we'll just drive a couple hours to get...

We have booked last minute just for a quick break on a road trip … hotel is super cute and nice, clean, bathroom is not the high design but is ok. The online door key system is kind of waited and long as not working properly.. I have found it too a way too long explanation via WhatsApp and a bad wifi connection can make you lose some time to get in. We stopped here for lunch while on a cycle tour down to Venice. It was one of the highlights of our trip. We had a fantastic lunch sitting outside on the terrace. It was a cool shady spot on a hot summer day. They had a lunch menu with 2-3 options per course. We took one of everything and an extra plate for our daughter. The pasta dishes were delicious and the portions generous. The waitress was friendly and the service was great. Such good value too at 15 EUR a head for primo, secondo & contorno and water. Highly...
