This restaurant was recommended by a friend who owns a winery in Barolo. Our party of four enjoyed a great lunch with excellent service. Of particular note was the fried porcini mushrooms, in season at that moment and excellent. The problem experienced was more around integrity than food quality. We were were served wine three nice glasses of wine from a fresh bottle at EUR 8 a glass and then decided that we would just keep the bottle since we all liked the wine. The owner mumbled something about his profit margins but that it was good for him. Later when settling the bill he was unable to separate the bill by couple so we just split the bill equally to make the math easy for him. Later when we analyzed the charges we found that he charged us EUR 55 for a bottle of wine where glasses for EUR 8. He also charged us for extra coffee that we did not order. If you like peace and quiet with friendly inhabitants, this is the place. In particular, we enjoyed our stay at L’Angolo di Rosina very much. The staff are super-friendly and helpful – mostly that means the manager, who seems to do a million different jobs efficiently. The room was clean, sufficiently large, and comfortable. It was nice to enjoy some quiet time on the terrace. Although our room was above the outside dining area, the noise died off by 11 PM. Breakfast is definitely better than what one commonly gets in Italy, where most people seem to care little about breakfast. When we are back in this area, I will definitely try to...
