Bonelli Burgers had a stand set up near FanCity for the recent 2025 Imola F1 GP.

I was skeptical of getting a burger, as my experience has been most burgers in Europe are pretty awful. Bonelli is the exception though! I had a burger on Friday of the GP weekend and decided to have another after the race on Sunday.

If the owners of Bonelli wish to become immensely wealthy, they should open locations in Switzerland. I have never had a good burger in Switzerland, in fact, every burger I've had in Switzerland was so awful I couldn't finish it. What do the Swiss put in their meat blend to make it taste so awful?

Anyway, well done Bonelli on an excellent burger. High quality ingredients, cooked fresh, tastes great. Fries were awesome as well - I wish I could fries like in the USA! Staff was friendly despite having to deal with so many F1 fans, especially many of us that can't...

Oh my... I'm giving only five stars because giving six is not supported. We saw this place had a good rating, so when we visited Ayrton a few blocks away we said 'hey, let's give this place a try!' We were thinking about how clever it is to eat burger in Italy, I mean it's not a typical local food at all, right? Well, this was easily one of the best decisions we ever made. The burgers are awesome. The fries are otherworldly. The prices are not too high.

Non-food services (i.e. restrooms) were funny, but also clever - there are not many places where you can wash your hands without touching the taps and not wasting water at the same time.

If I have to find any cons, it's probably lack of parking, but that can be managed.

But if I have anything to do near Imola again, I'll visit Bonelli...

A malincuore mi tocca dare solo 3 stelle. Questo locale era la mia hamburgeria preferita tempo fa quando ancora avevano il logo pancake anziché quello della Bonelli. La sezione veggies non è più vegana come un tempo. Un paio di anni fa avevano formaggi vegani e mayo fatta in casa vegana. Avevano le patate dolci davvero sfiziosi e fatti con delle spezie che le rendevano uniche. Ora vedo tutto più uniformato alla massa. Non c'è più l'unicità di un tempo. Le patate sono uguali a quelle che si potrebbe trovare a un birger king... e per un'hamburgeria il cui punto forte è avere elementi genuini e tutto fatto in casa, non è certamente una cosa buona. In poche parole il mio hamburger storpiato che ho dovuto prendere senza formaggio veg senza mayo e con pochissimo avocado nonostante avessi aggiunto la salsa guacamole per compensare, mi ha lasciato deluso. Le patate con la salsa bonelli era buona. A detta loro era vegana. La mia ragazza prese delle patate al bacon. Tralasciando che ci hanno dato un solo vasoio nonostante fossimo in 2 e che si sono sbagliati e in un primo momento hanno tolto anche a lei il bacon (poi rimediato). Lei ha detto che sono meglio le patate al bacon del mac donald... insomma, ci sono rimasto malissimo perché speravo di fargli provare un posto speciale... ma così non è stato. Patate con salsa e bacon distribuito tutta in cima e sul fondo niente. Bacon, a detta della mia ragazza, salatissimo. Lo staff è gentilissimo tuttavia, e hanno accettato di farci impacchettare per l'asporto le patate che lei non è riuscito a finire. Le patate, effettivamente le ricordavo diverse. Non so cosa sia cambiato esattamente ma qualcosa è cambiato senza dubbio. Davvero un peccato. Era il mio posto di hamburger preferito, l'unica pecca è che non era vicino. Probabilmente non ci tornerò. Magari se sentirò che sono tornati come alle origini sì, se mi capita di passare per la zona. Rimane, comunque, per i non vegani, un hamburgeria leggermente sopra la media a mio avviso, ma ben lontano...
