Ristorante Pizzeria Bel Soggiorno — Restaurant in Oggebbio

Relying on the prior and mainly positive reviews about this restaurant, my family and I were very surprised when we had dinner at this restaurant. While the view is very decent but also a bit overrated, the food was everything else than good. From bruschetta as starters, pizzas as our main dish, and ice cream as dessert, we were missing ingredients of adequate quality in all our dishes. The starters were okay, the pizzas were spoiled by mozzarella of low quality and the dough was rather similar to dough of „flammkuchen“. As we were already slightly disappointed with the prior food, we decided to only order gelato as dessert and not something more sophisticated such as panna cotta or creme brulé. Unfortunately, the pistachio and chocolate ice cream both tasted very watery and not creamy at all. A cheap ice cream in a grocery market could have tasted better. Nevertheless, the personell was very friendly and attentive...

Wir waren schon 4x hier im Hotel 🏨 um Urlaub am Lago Maggiore zu machen… das erste Mal im Jahre 2016. Wir wurden jedes Mal sehr freundlich empfangen & umsorgt. Die Zimmer sind nicht luxuriös aber sehr sauber. Inzwischen haben wir einen Wohnwagen und sind damit dieses Jahr das erste Mal am Lago Maggiore. Auch wenn wir ca. 20 km von Oggebbio entfernt übernachten, haben wir heute das 2. Mal einen Tisch reserviert und wurden wie immer nicht enttäuscht! 🤩🫶 Der Service war super 👍🏻 und das Essen (siehe Photos) mega lecker!! Freunde von uns waren letztens mit ihrem Wohnmobil auf dem schönen Stellplatz direkt in Oggebbio unterhalb des Restaurants. Ich habe ihnen die Empfehlung gegeben, auch hier essen zu gehen…. Und ihr Resümee war: sie waren dann sogar auch zweimal hier zum Abendessen, da es ihnen so gut geschmeckt hat! 👍🏻und der Kellner so freundlich war 😃👍🏻 vergesst nicht einen Tisch zu reservieren! 😅☺️ es waren heute alle Tische gefüllt!
