Ristorante-Pizzeria L'Isola che non c'è — Restaurant in Olbia

Very disappointing as we went as a group of four for a Father’s Day celebration. My husband ordered a Colleta de Milanese which came to the table within 5 minutes and looked nothing like he expected as it was more like a snitzel and not a cutlet . After taking a taste my husband sent it back. They offered him another choice from the menu but he had lost confidence in them and declined . The pizzas we all ordered were less than average and not of a standard we might expect in Italy. To add insult to injury they kept the returned item on the bill. I disputed this and the waitress/owner or whatever was very rude and insulting , and patently refused to remove the cost from the bill. So poor they obviously don’t value their customers. No apologies for this sort...

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER My fiancé and I sat for 25 minutes at this restaurant without being greeted. After not receiving water or having our order taken for those 25 minutes we finally decided to give up and walk out. The most frustrating part of the entire experience is that tables who were sat at the same time as us were already part of at through their meal (with drinks) when we decided to leave, and other tables sat after us already had drinks. We even tried to get the servers’ attention multiple times and they blatantly ignored us. It felt personal towards us being tourists, so if you are vacationing in Sardinia, choose another restaurant because they likely won’t serve you either. Any other restaurant and customer service would be better...

Abbiamo scoperto questo ristorante per caso andando a fare la spesa nei supermercati vicini. Siamo stati in totale 3 volte. Appena entrati si respira un clima tetro di ansia, la gestione è totale dei due proprietari penso della zona marito e moglie. Le comande possono essere prese solo ed unicamente da loro… lo staff dei camerieri molto giovani (di conseguenza naturalmente con poca esperienza) viene trattato male ed insultato davanti ai clienti. Non c’è musica e si respira solo ansia e tensione tra gestori e staff. Ci ha attirato il menu pizzeria ristorante, perfetto per una famiglia, per accontentare tutti. I prezzi sono molto contenuti (forse per la zona) ed i piatti sono abbondanti. Però… capisco il periodo di alta stagione ma di certe cose non si può transigere. Comanda della pizza dei bambini arrivata sbagliata (pizza rossa anziché a base bianca) gliela faccio passare come pizza tipica della Sardegna per evitare sceneggiate e tempi per rifarla corretta, mio marito pasta ai frutti di mare molto buona, io essendo vegetariana ho una scelta limitata opto per fettuccine ai porcini. Nulla di strano e segnalato nel menu. Mi arriva un piatto di fettuccine con un sugo liquido di panna e pomodoro con qualche pezzo di fungo. A mio gusto non gradito e non mangiato ma comunque pagato perché sono una signora… consiglierei almeno di segnalarlo in carta che è una versione rivisitata perché neanche in Sud America o villaggi asiatici mi è mai capitata una versione così. Da ultimo nel menu c’è scritto che i dolci sono fatti in casa… ricordavo un tiramisù casalingo preso la volta precedente davvero molto buono, scherzo nonostante la pancia vuota , con la proprietaria dicendo che volevo un buon tiramisù per “tirarmi su” cena. Arriva una sorta di tiramisù commerciale congelato in stile bindi se va bene tutto ghiacciato dentro. Ma non bastava suggerire o consigliare un dessert diverso visto che palesemente non era più lo stesso fatto direttamente dal ristorante? Dopo tutta questa pappardella la morale è: va bene se si è local se siete turisti evitate…. Ci sono tanti ristoranti eleganti e carini nella stessa zona dove sicuramente non vi sentirete presi per i fondelli. Peccato, in tre mesi di Sardegna non...
