Blue Lagoon — Restaurant in Oliveri

I am an American who was on a working vacation in Oliveri. I tried several restaurants in the area and this one I liked the most. I liked this place because it was fast and inexpensive. I tried some more fancy restaurants in the area which had good food but sometimes it took 2 hours to get a pizza. The food at the Blue Lagoon was perfect for my tastes. They have a good selection of all the Sicilian food you are looking for: gelato, granitas, arancini, paninis, espresso, cappuccinos, mixed drinks, etc.

I didn't speak Italian and they didn't speak English but this didn't matter. I just pointed to things on the menu. One day I used google translate to tell the owner that I loved his restaurant. Another reason I went there is because they have pretty good WIFI. My phone's cellular data did not work so I went there 3 times a day to eat and check messages. Nice beach bar with good selection of drinks and tasty coffee. I recommend the granita - alcoholic as well as classic.

Ideal place to escape the heat during lunch hours.
