A wonderful restaurant with a delightful mix of atmospheres. The napkins were pure white, reflecting cleanliness, and while there were waiters dressed in formal black-and-white uniforms, they remained kind and welcoming—even with our 8-year-old son excited for our first family trip abord. My French husband was especially pleased to spot a Paul Bocuse book displayed at the register.
The food itself was delicious and surprisingly generous in portion. We were already full halfway through, but it was so good we finished every bite—though we had to skip dessert in the end. One surprising touch was the QR code menu. Since I couldn’t get a connection, I asked a young waitress, and she quickly entered the network name and password into my phone. I was seriously impressed—remembering such a long string of characters isn’t easy, but if it was Italians words which I didn’t recognized ! She was kind at least, I...
Read moreI’m giving this restaurant a one-star rating because of a very disappointing experience we had. We specifically requested a meat-free meal—just seafood or cheese-based options. Unfortunately, they served us a dish that contained pork, which we only discovered halfway through eating.
When we pointed this out, they confirmed it was indeed pork and offered a replacement dish. While we appreciated the replacement (a simple tomato sauce spaghetti), we were shocked that they still charged us fully for the original dish we couldn’t eat. The main chef argued that since we had eaten half of it, we had to pay for it entirely, despite it being their mistake. In the end, they only offered a minimal discount of 5 euros on a 50-euro bill, which felt completely inadequate.
This experience showed a lack of understanding and poor customer service. We left feeling quite...
Read moreThe pizza was really nice and a fair price but the man, I think who was the owner, had a very bad attitude and didn’t make us feel welcome.
The menu was the ever unpopular QR code style and due to the poor layout I asked about specific beers, to which he told me in an impolite manner ‘it’s all on the menu’.
When he came to take my order I showed him the beer I wanted on my phone from the menu, to which he very rudely said ‘I can’t see it’.
His daughter was polite and friendly to us, but he totally needs to either put his ego to the side or find another job where customers are not an inconvenience. One of the questions I asked he also responded in a sarcastic tone.
I told the waitress at the end about this experience and how it really ruined it for us. I’d rather eat a bowl of lettuce than...
