Staying locally(due to proximity to airport) and did some research of the local restaurants to plan a nice meal on our last night. Chose this restaurant based on its reviews but I am confused as to why it has received such. However in hindsight, these reviews were written a while ago and the place has deteriorated since then. We were left a basket of bread on the table which was completely stale and utterly disgusting(€7)! They weren't serving pizza tonight so my sister settled for another recommendation by the waitor which wasn't great. I ordered a hot starter "LA Siglioni"... No comment but it was the worst food I have tasted in my whole time in Italy. Was not what was mentioned on the menu. Food is completely over priced for what you get and it was not the final meal we were hoping for. Service was fine, staff were a bit forceful wanting you to get dessert that's just sitting out on display and the wine was fine if you're happy to overpay for a bottle that is native to Italy and can buy for €4 in a supermarket. I would not recommend...

We felt very uncomfortable because of the waiter ( a tall man with a bald head ). He made fun of us because we're from germany and he shows his negative opinion about germans without any fear. I never felt that unwelcomed in a restaurant in my life, like this. His english wasn't the best, but acted like it was my fault wich made the communication problems. ( we wanted to order a glas of good sweeter wine and asked for a recommendation and he laughs because it seems for him that we don't have knowledge about wine at all)
It's horrible how a waiter can act like this in a service placement. (I now what I'm talking about, because I'm working in the gastronomy since 10 years)
the fact that no one seems to speak english or even don't want to speak, in an area that is next to an airport is pretty sad.
As a German tourist , I wasn't...

We ordered the seared tuna which was a main but we asked for it as a starter as it's a dish that we wanted to try on this trip and it did not disappoint at all! A dash of balsamic and I could have ate plates more.
The spaghetti with seafood for 2 was really good, full of flavour, my other half thought maybe a little slightly salty for her but she still cleared her plate.
Then came the tiramisu..... Ordered 1 to share.... Ended up with 1 each.... So good!!!
Last but not least, the service was absolutely brilliant, Emanuel (I hope I got this right) made our night, attentive, informative and a joy to chat with. Thank you for making our visit wonderful.
Will be back...
