Gelateria Da Bepi — Restaurant in Padua

I normally don’t write reviews but I walked more than an hour to get here so a review it has to be. The delivery of the flavors is just excellent. I’ve had a lot of good gelato but this one is absurdly excellent. I tried 6 flavors and none of them disappointed me. Flavor bomb at first spoon, and by the third spoon there’ll be a hidden delicate flavor to be found. Even Bergamotte di Calabria, which was my least favorite because it was so sour, still has the nice touch of bergamotte peel. What doesn’t do this gelateria justice is how Google Maps doesn’t display a proper way to get there with public transport. Alcuni dicono gelateria migliore di Padova ma penso che non ne abbiano provate altre. Bella la location. Comunque prendiamo due coni da due palline. Le ragazze al banco carinissime in tutto il servizio. Prezzi folli, 4,20 euro a gelato (due gelati 8,40). Ci lamentiamo del prezzo? Assolutamente no, i prezzi sono ben esposti e quindi la decisione di prenderlo spetta al cliente. Il punto veramente cruciale è la qualità del gelato. I gusti, rispettivamente in coppia, erano: yogurt, miele e noci caramellate con frutti di bosco e kiwi con tropical. Partiamo dal kiwi di cui non si può neanche commentare il gusto poichè inesistente. Il tropical sembrava succo di frutta (quello della bravo per interderci) congelato e tritato. Il gusto frutti di bosco aveva un colore lilla e il gusto paragonabile a quello del kiwi. Ma lo yogurt era il peggiore di tutti. Pieno di grumi ghiacciati e dire che non siamo neanche stati tanto bene dopo averlo mangiato è un eufemismo.
