Grande Shanghai — Restaurant in Padua

We had a wonderful dinner at this cozy Chinese restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with tasteful decor and traditional touches like red lanterns hanging from the ceiling. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our meal.

The food was outstanding – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. From the shrimp stir-fry and tender chicken dishes to the fluffy scrambled eggs and stir-fried cabbage, everything was cooked to perfection. We especially appreciated the generous portions and variety of dishes.

Another big plus: the restaurant has a large parking area that's perfect for buses, making it ideal for groups or travelers on the road.

This is a reliable chinese-much-adapted-to-Italian-taste restaurant (and it is not at all a bad thing) with an excellent ratio between quality and cost. Do not expect to find here the pinnacle of a millenarian cuisine, neither is the preferred spot for untreatable epicurean gourmet like myself, but it is excellent for families and groups of friends. Sono stata al ristorante Grande Shanghai un venerdì sera d’inverno insieme al mio fidanzato. Era da tanto che volevamo provare ad andarci in quanto è un ristorante cinese fra i più conosciuti della città. L’interno è carino. Ci sono molti tavoli e si intravedeva un giardino all’esterno che però a causa del buio non siamo riusciti a vedere bene. Abbiamo ordinato alcuni dei nostri piatti preferiti per fare un confronto rispetto ad altri ristoranti cinesi della zona. Per quanto riguarda gli antipasti ci è piaciuto molto il pane al vapore, i ravioli di carne erano buoni mentre gli involtini primavera discreti. Come primo abbiamo diviso degli gnocchi di riso con verdure (zucchine e carote) e maiale. Buoni ma mancava qualcosa. Ad esempio un po’ di funghi e bambù... Di secondo abbiamo diviso un branzino stufato alla cinese che ci è piaciuto molto. Come contorno abbiamo preso invece i funghi e bambù: buonissimi! A differenza di altri ristoranti, il piatto che ci è arrivato era un misto di funghi (shiitake ma non solo) con bambù e in aggiunta del cipollotto che ci stava benissimo. Per terminare la cena abbiamo mangiato dei lytchees. Buoni. In totale abbiamo speso 40€, per cui il rapporto qualità-prezzo a nostro parere è molto buono.
