A Wonderful Dining Experience

We had a fantastic time at this restaurant. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly arranged. We didn’t have to wait for a table as it was already booked and it was beautifully presented with a clean, neat tablecloth.

Service was quick and professional. We were approached promptly by a friendly waitress who brought us the menu and we didn’t have to wait long for our food after ordering. We chose pizzas and drinks — and they did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the house speciality pizza, which was a delightful combination of different flavours. It was expertly prepared and very satisfying.

As we dined, the restaurant gradually filled up, yet it remained spacious and comfortable. Despite more people coming in, it was easy to hold a conversation without being disturbed by the surrounding noise — a real bonus.

One of the highlights was being able to watch the chefs preparing pizzas right in front of us. It’s always nice to see your food being made fresh with such skill and care.

The atmosphere was very pleasant overall. When we first arrived, the restaurant played charming Neapolitan music, which really added a unique and cozy touch. However, later on, the playlist switched to more commercial American music, which slightly took away from that special Italian vibe. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to keep the traditional Neapolitan music going — it truly made the experience feel authentic and memorable.

Really bad reception when my partner and I arrived on time for our 7pm reservation that we booked online. We were ignored by all staff when we first arrived and already felt unwelcome. If they were not set up yet, that would have been OK. They could have served drinks and said so politely. The place was empty and we were clearly the first to arrive so they weren't busy with other customers. Who I presume to be the owner muttered something inaudibly and rudely besides us. I had to ask to repeat what he said as I'm not an Italian native but he rushed off before he gave us time to answer? We stood around unsure whether we were going to be seated or not but were still ignored. We ended up leaving. We made a half an hour bus journey out to this restaurant as I had been to this restaurant before and had had a good experience. Really disappointed with this service and will not be coming back. If you do not open at 7pm, please do not have the option for booking this time online or having it as your opening time on your website either as you clearly were...

Il locale è grandissimo, noi siamo stati in una sera in settimana ed era praticamente vuoto, quindi ho apprezzato molto la tranquillità. La musica era un po’ alta, ma appena abbiamo chiesto di abbassarla si sono mostrati subito disponibili, quindi ottimo. Le pizze però… no. Il sugo era completamente crudo, sembrava davvero una passata di pomodoro appena versata sulla base pasta. Peccato, perché visivamente i piatti erano belli e anche l’insalata buona (a parte la rucola un po’ asciutta, mi dicono). Avevo chiesto salsiccia secca ma è arrivata quella fresca: dettaglio minore, ma comunque un errore. Forse sono abituato alle pizze al forno a legna che si trovano in Sardegna, ma questa esperienza mi ha deluso. Locale carino e servizio gentile, cameriera e hostess molto cordiali, ma non credo che ci tornerei, almeno per la pizza, non a breve comunque

la mia recensione non aveva nessuna intenzione “punitiva”, ma solo descrittiva di un’esperienza reale (30 settembre per la precisione, ho semplicemente scritto la recensione in ritardo) Tengo a precisare che siamo arrivati alle 21:30 circa (non alle 22:30), quindi in un orario del tutto normale per cenare. Il termine “sugo crudo” si riferiva ovviamente al sapore percepito, non al fatto che la passata non fosse “fisicamente cotta”, e mi sorprende doverlo chiarire 😂 Per la salsiccia, capisco che non fosse disponibile quella secca ma sarebbe bastata una semplice comunicazione al momento dell’ordine. Anche perché alla cameriera chiesi esplicitamente se potevo ordinare una semplice salsiccia secca e funghi, come da foto. Ha semplicemente inserito una pizza base rossa con aggiunte di funghi e salsiccia. Resto dell’idea che la pizza, visivamente bella, fosse poco riuscita sul piano del gusto. Apprezzo comunque la risposta, anche se forse un po’ troppo difensiva e allo stesso tempo attaccante rispetto al tono della mia recensione. Buon lavoro.

A questo punto direi che è chiaro che abbiamo percezioni diverse, e va bene così. La mia recensione resta fedele alla mia esperienza, e lascio che siano i lettori a farsi un’idea.
