Alessandro, his son and brother have created the perfect dining experience! The dining room, menu, music, food and the service are all so perfectly sublime that we ate here twice on our two day visit to the city. We had their homemade pasta and steak and of course dessert. Di ritorno da Verona passiamo da Padova e cercando su Google un ristorante vicino l’uscita dell’A4 ci attira l’attenzione La Casa per le foto dei piatti. Situato in una via comoda da raggiungere da fuori risulta semplice ma ordinato, ma è entrando che ci ha sorpreso: bello, pulito, ordinato e anche elegante con una bella musica di sottofondo. Ci accoglie subito il titolare simpaticissimo che ci spiega dettagliatamente i piatti e le tipicità della zona e ci illustra i fuori menù del giorno. Prendiamo gnocchi con ragù bianco di cortile e bigoli cacio e pepe, entrambi strepitosi, pasta rigorosamente fatta in casa. Come secondo pollo al forno con patate buonissimo nella sua semplicità. Da notare che tutte le carni bianche sono biologiche e provenienti da un piccolo allevamento del luogo. Ottimo il pane fatto in casa. Conto giusto per la bontà dei piatti.
