La Strega Storia&Passione — Restaurant in Palagianello

La Strega offered a dining experience that was second to none. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were met with warm Italian hospitality, embodied in our wonderfully helpful and amiable waiter. His fluency in English, paired with his polite and calm demeanor, was refreshingly impressive and added a lot to our dining experience.

The menu at La Strega boasted an impressive range of options, and we opted for the pizzas. To say that they were great would be an understatement. They were perfectly cooked, generous in size and packed full of authentic Italian flavor. They were so fulfilling that we didn't even have space for dessert!

Aside from the excellent food and service, the ambiance of the restaurant was cosy and comfortable. It was the perfect setting to enjoy a meal after a day of sightseeing.

I wholeheartedly recommend La Strega to anyone visiting the area. It's a dining experience that offers not just great food, but an introduction to the warm hospitality that Italy is so famous for. I'm definitely coming back the next time...

We had a recommendation from Franco our host at a nearby hotel, consequently we popped over and realised that without a booking it was fairly unlikely that we would get a table on a busy Saturday night.

Not so, it's not a question of what you know, one mention of Franco's name and we found ourselves sitting in a beautifully presented modern restaurant.

Our waiter was able in near perfect English to walk us through the menu and to recommend some specials that were not on it, I think a misused word, exquisite, describes the experience.

Although we did hear an American voice in the far distance, this is a locals restaurant where much to our amazement everyone seemed to be eating pizza, but my goodness the choice on the menu is out of this world.

La Strega Storia&Passione – Una certezza per chi ama mangiare bene e sentirsi a casa Frequentiamo La Strega Storia&Passione da tempo, sia a pranzo che a cena, con la mia famiglia (abbiamo due bambini) e spesso anche con amici. È uno di quei posti dove si torna sempre con piacere, certi di trovare accoglienza, qualità e buon cibo. Il locale è spazioso e ben organizzato, con due ampie sale collegate: la prima può ospitare anche una sessantina di persone, mentre la seconda è ideale per feste, eventi o gruppi numerosi. D’estate, è possibile anche mangiare all’aperto, un’opzione piacevole e rilassante soprattutto nelle serate più calde. La cucina a vista è un valore aggiunto: vedere all’opera lo chef Giuseppe è già un assaggio dell’esperienza che ti aspetta. I suoi piatti, di mare e di terra, sono curati, gustosi e presentati con un tocco gourmet raffinato ma mai esagerato, oltre alla sua disponibilità e competenza, a trasformare questi piatti a coloro che hanno delle intolleranze. Un altro grande punto di forza è la pizza. Il pizzaiolo Donato lavora un impasto contemporaneo davvero ben riuscito: leggero, fragrante e digeribile. È anche specializzato nella pizza senza glutine, preparata con grande competenza, e propone anche ottime pizze in stile romano. Il menù è completo e vario: antipasti, primi, secondi di carne e pesce, sempre con ingredienti di qualità e abbinamenti equilibrati. Ottima anche la selezione di vini, birre artigianali e cocktail. I dolci fatti in casa dallo chef sono una vera coccola per chiudere in bellezza. Infine, nota di merito ai bagni, spesso trascurati in altri locali: grandi, puliti ed eleganti, cosa importante soprattutto per chi ha bambini. In conclusione, La Strega Storia&Passione è un ristorante dove si mangia bene, si viene accolti con gentilezza e si vive sempre una bella esperienza. Consigliato con il cuore per famiglie, amici e...
