Ai Due Delfini — Restaurant in Palmanova

We didn't expect that the dolphin restaurant was so good when we looked at the sign above their door. But, as other well rated restaurants didn't have free sits, we went to the dolphins. It was very busy, but we didn't have to wait too long to be seated, and enjoyed pur pizzas and salmon very much. The only thing that I did not like is that they completely forgot to bring soup for my friend and they brough it when she was allready half way into her pizza. We should have refused it and asked to be removed from the bill, but we enjoyed the busy atmosphere and good food so much, that we just took the soup as well, which the friends did eat at the end. It would have been better if they had appologized for the situation before even serving the forgotten soup. But, all in all, we would cime again to...

We were traveling as a family from Milan, we decided to explore the city of Palmanova. In the afternoon, all the restaurants in this small town were closed. The only one restaurant was open, which made us very happy, but we were immediately warned that the kitchen was closed and only pizza could be cooked. There was no choice and we are not disappointed by this. All pizzas were very tasty, just culinary masterpieces. I will add about the Italian home service and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Esistono davvero gli SCARAFAGGI nei piatti! Abbiamo fame e il vento freddo ci spinge in quel posto rustico nell´ora del pranzo. È la domenica del 1° dicembre 2013, e non conoscendo il locale, entriamo. Siamo i primi e ci sediamo vicino a la stufa che emette un caldo piacevole. Ordiniamo del vino bianco (sfuso) che non era neanche male e visto che la cucina consiglia "l´Antipasto di Mare gratinato", decidiamo di ordinare questo piatto e in più come primo le "Linguine alla Scogliera". L´antipasto arriva, abbondante anche se con una quantità eccessiva di pane gratinato. Gli scampi non convincono....tutto sommato pero quello che arriva non è male e il palato chiede di più. Arrivano anche le Linguine alla Scogliera su tre piatti ben presentati. Si mangia con gusto, ma in un momento, girando una vongola il mio amico scopre uno, e non è uno scherzo, uno SCARAFAGGIO!!!!! Cotto, .......certo che alcuni lettori di questa recensione diranno che è comunque un bis di proteine, ma lo schifo prevale. Chiamo la cameriera che ritira tutta schifata il piatto e ci chiede se vorremmo qualcos´altro da mangiare ;( - bella tosta! Il cuoco come anche il titolare non si fanno vedere e dopo aver chiesto la fattura ci arriva lo scontrino con tutto salvo il piatto "infestato"!!!!! Mi "incazzo" e chiedo di cancellare immediatamente tutta la pasta dalla fattura (visto che è stata preparata nella stessa pentola), la ragazza mi guarda e dice: "Va bene", e torna con un´altra fattura..........Conclusione: Decidete voi se andare in questo locale, forse dopo la visita dei Carabinieri o di qualcuno delle autorità sanitarie..........l´amico mio stava male tutta la notte, scaricandosi in modo spaventoso.....no, lui dice che non erano le linguine....erano gli scampi del antipasto che non erano al dente come ci si aspetterebbe la...
