Right at the foot of Perugia next to the stadium, Menchetti is a bar / restaurant/ pizza place/ bakery open all day. You can eat sitting or take away and offers food and drinks all through the day. What distinguishes Menchetti is the high quality of all of its products - be it a simple coffee and pastry, light lunch, apericena (buffet of variety of dishes plus a drink), pizza or cakes and desserts - everything is homemade and of the highest quality. It's a nice place and the buffet can be fantastic, but it wasn't in this visit. It's great if you are sitting in the main part, but this time we got seated in the ice-cream bar where the speaker was of poor quality so we couldn't appreciate the DJ's good music - just an irritating noise. Also because we were in that part we got abandoned by the waitress, we would have spent far more on drinks if they'd come to check on us more often.

Loved it, the chairs are super comfy 👌 and the waiters are very professional and look very elegant too in their black bow ties. The food was amazing 👏 only downfall was the fact that egg is nearly in every dish and I am allergic. So I opted for the pizza 🍕 which was delicious 😋 and scrumptious. The rest of my table got hamburgers 🍔 which I would have love to try but the beef patty contains egg 🙄 We sat inside but there is an outside area too, live music and an All you can Eat buffet for the aperitif crowd.
