Da Maria — Restaurant in Peschici

I recently dined at Ristorante Da Maria and I can confidently say it was a truly exceptional experience deserving of five stars! From start to finish, every aspect of our meal was outstanding.

First and foremost, the top-quality ingredients used in their dishes were evident in every bite. Each ingredient was fresh and bursting with flavor, elevating the overall dining experience.

Speaking of dishes, the word "exquisite" doesn't do justice to the culinary masterpieces we enjoyed. The combination of flavors and presentation was simply divine, leaving our taste buds in awe.

Their heavenly pizzas were a highlight of the evening. Perfectly cooked with a thin, crispy crust and a delectable array of toppings, they were a true gastronomic delight.

The restaurant's great location added to the charm of the evening. With a lovely ambiance and scenic views, it created the perfect setting for a memorable meal.

Furthermore, the staff at Ristorante Da Maria were incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They guided us through the menu, made excellent recommendations, and ensured our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.

Lastly, the prices were unbelievably fair for the quality of food and service provided. It's rare to find such a combination of excellence and affordability in a restaurant, making Ristorante Da Maria...

Il ristorante seppur non preveda la vista sul mare, si erge su un paesaggio collinare, immerso nella natura con frutta e verdura coltivata. L'apparenza inganna, infatti nonostante la strada un pò dissestata, le indicazioni turistiche ed una struttura rivedibile esternamente, questo luogo è sicuramente una bella scoperta. Oltre ai giochi per bambini, troviamo posti all'aperto che si affacciano su un paesaggio verdeggiante oltre che una vasta sala interna. Il menù offre sia piatti fissi che piatti del giorno(fortemente consigliati). Incredibilmente succulento il polpo provato in 3 diverse versioni, al vapore con crema di fave e pane croccante, al vapore con patate e burrata, alla griglia con crema di piselli e chips. Il pesce risultava fresco, tenero, con un sapore che si sposava egregiamente con ogni altro componente. Porzioni nella norma, giuste. La bistecca di tonno era saporita, cottura ottimale ed abbondante, gli spaghetti ai cartoccio discreti ma non al livello del resto. Orecchiette al grano arso alla pescatora abbastanza valide e sufficientemente sfiziose. Una chicca inaspettata, il liquore cherry di produzione propria gentilmente offerto dalla casa. Servizio veloce e personale a modo, seppur in una posizione più ostica rispetto alla varietà di locali limitrofi, merita...

Oggi 19 settembre, data da dimenticare ! Dopo tre giorni a Peschici abbiamo mangiato sempre molto bene. L'ultima, accecati dalla pubblivits, siamo andati a cena (si fa per dire) "da Maria". Locale lugubre , due persone, mascherate servivano a tavola. Il menù presentato era per oggi, ma poiché vi erano piatti non di NS. Gusto, abbiamo chiesto le famose cozze imbottite, che altro non erano che 6, e dico 6, piccole cozze con pane cotto e sugo, come si faceva quando c'era la fame! Non contenti abbiamo preso un risotto alla pescatora che di mare non aveva nulla, ma era pieno di dado star ! Continuando abbiamo preso una spigola, questa era buona. Per chiudere nonostante la fame, abbiamo preso una panna cotta, che era ricotta e non panna cotta, servita in porzione di diametro di tre centimetri in un piatto di diametro di 25 centimetri!!! Alla fine ci è stato offerto un amaro a base di lino..........! Devono vergognarsi di fronte ai loro colleghi di Peschici, dove di mangia...
