Delicious Pizza, take away 2019

Update 2022: take out lunch Pizza, mainly because of experience in 2019. Other members of traveling party ( 13 people) were excited about the dishes they saw, so we decided to return in the evening for dinner. We had some starters, beware portions are large. 6 starters were enough for our party. For the main course some of us had pizza, sea food, grilled meat and burger. Only thing that was a bit disappointing was the burger. I wouldn't recommend it. Everything else was very good. Everyone was happy at the end of the day, even the most difficult eaters of the group. Staff was very friendly, but not fluent in English. But with Google translate we were able to decipher the menu. Price wise we spent around 33-ish euros per person which included lots of water, some soda beverages (no alcoholic drinks) coffee after. Shared starters, main dishes and half of the party had a dessert...

After eating in Pescheira del Garda for 3 evenings we were looking for an alternative where there was enough (safe) parking space, good food and away from the croud. Then we found Pizzeria da Mariano on a little roundabout 800 meters from the Ile Hotel where we were staying. Warm welcome, good service, pleasant prices and extensive pizza menu. Our children could also eat well with hamburgers, spaghetti, grilled steak, fish dishes... The dessert menu is limited but tasty. The nice surprise was with the bill - more pleasant than in Pesscheira. We were there 5 days in a row until...

E' un ristorante pizzeria informale in una posizione un po' defilata rispetto al Santuario del Frassino e alla strada principale che porta a Peschiera del Garda da sud. Si mangia abbastanza bene a prezzi ragionevoli rispetto a tanti altri ristoratori più centrali e più costosi, con l'ulteriore vantaggio di un contesto leggermente periferico di stampo più rurale e casereccio, meno sovraffollato per famiglie con bambini e con un servizio esterno da cortile e non da piazza. Ha un ampio e comodo parcheggio antistante ma la stradina per arrivarci è stretta e sterrata e le indicazioni dalla strada principale... sono poco vistose. Oltre alle pizze , riscontrate di buona qualità, equilibrate tra razioni, cottura e ingredienti, con una gamma insolita rispetto al convenzionale, il ristorante si propone anche con carne alla brace... il classico piattone con la frittura di pesce da pizzeria ed altri stuzzichini fritti un po' trascurato come argomento. Il servizio è gentile e veloce con qualche piccola caduta di stile trascurabile come il quadretto che indica il bagno non fissato alla porta che sbatte. Il rapporto qualità prezzo complessivamente è buono e l'impostazione che ho riscontrato, soprattutto considerando le "voci carogna" come ad esempio il coperto o l'acqua (servono 0.75cl) o il caffè e l'amaro che di solito hanno ricarichi furbetti all'italiana invece li ho trovati molto onesti e gli fa onore... Il caffè, tuttavia, è molto migliorabile. Lo consiglio, ma potrebbero fare decisamente meglio e avere anche maggiore riscontro dalla clientela con un attimo di attenzione in più ai particolari e davvero...
