For our first visit we arrived 10 Minutes after the end of their lunch time and we were immediately told we couldn't get any food anymore. Alrighty, we thought, maybe a bit too fussy about the time, but oh well, it was our fault after all (then again, there's no way to know about this from the internet, you guys should really inform people about your serving hours on your site!) Then how about the focaccia in the display? - Nope, no food anymore. Even though it's sitting there right in front of us? Ok weird, how about a smoothie? - Nope, too late. A cup of coffee? - Nope.
In the end we were told we could only have drinks that are bottled, which came down to juices or water. I don't really see why the bar is open at all after 2:30 PM, if they're adamant on not really serving anything. Oh well, can't be helped. We left a little frustrated.
Fast forward a few days: we decided to give it another shot and made sure to arrive well within the lunch hours(which we now knew because of our last visit. Again, no info on this online). The lady serving us was very nice and helpful, so keep that up! We decided on some pasta and a chickpea omelette with veggies along with some fresh fruit juices. The omelette was quite good. The pasta was a little disappointing, since it was basically pasta with pieces of tofu sausage and some mayo - not terrible, but not great either. Both servings were kind of small, so calling them a meal would be stretching it. I also found the pricetag quite steep at 45€ for two very small portions and two glasses of juice. Overall, I think it's great that more and more vegetarian and vegan places keep popping up and I've got a feeling the ladies running this place believe in the cause, so that's great. At the same time I feel like customer-orientation could be improved on. Please learn from this and maybe serve more than just bottled drinks after lunch - or just close shop after that, I suppose. Also, either improve the size of your meals or lower the price, 45€ are a bit much for...
Read moreThis little place left us disappointed - they said today the menu was not the full menu (via qr code) and they only had one thing for lunch - a rice bowl with vegetables and omelet which sounded nice. Unfortunately the rice old and was a mix of cold and slightly warmed (a warning sign for any bacteria to grow) and the vegetables were also reheated and warm/cold. All of this is fine for a basic meal but sadly, when we went to pay this very basic bowl was one of the most expensive meals we’ve had in the area at £14.90 per bowl. Plus a €3 per person cover charge for literally nothing (no water, bread, etc). Maybe we caught the cook on an off day 😔 on the plus side, the staff were very...
Read moreCompletely overrated place. The the omelette is old and warmed up with microwave (no joke, I saw the Omelettes laying around in plastic boxes). Tastes really bad. You get literally two pancakes with Nutella for 9,90€. The service is just slow. I do not understand the good rating. Would not go again.
Addition after your answer: That the Omelettes are behind glass or wherever, does not change the fact that it was not fresh! I expect in a cafe with such prices a fresh omelette and not one which is made hours before and then heated up. Your digital menu is not showing me that you get 2 pancakes for 9,90€…. Instead of explaining yourself, you should rather take the feedback and...
