Chang - Cucina Cantonese e Sushi — Restaurant in Piacenza

I love that I stumbled upon this restaurant randomly tonight. I have loved sushi since I was a kid and so I’ve formed a high criticism of mid or bad sushi. This sushi was amazing. I got some avocado, cucumber maki rolls, and a tempura shrimp roll and I requested to add cucumber to that roll. The restaurant didn’t have this on their menu but were nice enough to add it for me! The sushi was delicious, the avocado was perfectly creamy and honestly I can’t wait to go back soon! If you haven’t gotten this place, try it!

The xiao long bao is pretty nice even though usually there is the broth inside but I didn't have it last time. The branzio Ravioli tastes good but the texture is so soft like a porridge. The steam lotus leaf rice is nice. The gamberi cipolotti and zenzero is okay. So basically i recommend the lotus leaf rice and the xiao long bao even though the time of serving is quite long time. They serve the food not in the same time. In asian way usually we eat the rice with other condiments. Last time they served the rice first after we finished it they brought the shrimp. Not the authentic chinese or cantonese...

Devo dire che è stata una eccellente sorpresa, qualità molto al di sopra della media dei ristoranti cinesi! La location è in sul corso principale di Piacenza quindi ottima, mentre il locale in se è un po piccolino avrà si si e no 20 coperti divisi tra dentro e fuori nella verandina (riscaldata). Personalmente ho scelto la verandina in quando nel locale la cucina è a vista e vicino ai tavoli e volevo evitare che il mio maglione odorasse di cinese per i successivi giorni :D. Si nota subito che il ristorante ha una buona parte del suo business con il take away e la consegna a domicilio. Detto ciò passiamo al cibo, devo dire che la qualità è veramente alta, tutte le portate sono buonissime e generose. Servizio cortese, gentile e veloce. I prezzi sono leggermente più alti della media dei ristoranti cinesi ma li vale tutti, per dare una idea, 2 antipasti, 2 primi piatti, 1 secondo, birra e calice di vino a 45 €. Prezzo piu che onesto sopratutto perché ne siamo usciti veramente soddisfatti e sazi !...
