Daddy's Burger — Restaurant in Piano di Sorrento

CANADIAN PERSPECTIVE: Food was pretty good. Had a few issues though… 1. beef undercooked (pink) 2. pricing is bad (see below) 3. the sauces didn’t taste that good

Maybe the undercooked beef is an Italian cultural thing. Regardless, it is a food safety hazard no matter where in the world. Hopefully we are not sick tomorrow!

The pricing… JEEZ. We weren’t informed of all the extra costs, which added up to around 5 euros each!!! -Normally their burgers have french fries on them - cool idea, but as Canadians we opted for the fries ‘on the side’. Without being told, we were EACH charged an extra 3.30 euros for the fries! Not a large portion or anything! -We weren’t told it was extra for lettuce, tomatoes, sauces… 1 euro for tomatoes, 80 cents for lettuce, 10 cents per sauce (which didn’t taste great)… HUH?!?!?!

Anyway, the food tasted pretty good. For the pricing, it’s worth it to try this place if you like a plain type of burger without toppings.

The cheese is phenomenal!

The french fries were almost just like McDonald’s french fries but thicker/wider and less salt… super good!

The buns we’re grilled and hard on the outside, made it challenging to eat the burger but the buns were decently good.

NO bathroom.

NO hand sanitizer.

FYI - order taker spoke decent English!

Experience was overall good. We waited about 30 minutes for 4 hamburgers, which seems ok but we were one of the first ones arriving.. Luckily we had a wonderful view!! The burger was good, but NOT enough sauce. They pour the sauce (which you have to buy so be careful) on the side of the burger so after a few bites, it’s very very dry. Classic burger only meat, cheese and fries. So very dry.. the meat was very good but we didn’t ate everything...

allora partiamo dal fatto che, durante la processione storica di piano, in cui non c’era nessuno ad aspettare, avevamo ordinato 3 panini. avevano detto che massimo ci facevano aspettare circa 30 minuti, che poi così non è stato. abbiamo visto numerosi panini passare davanti a noi. abbiamo aspettato 1 ora e quando siamo entrate per capire dove fossero finiti questi benedetti panini, abbiamo visto il ragazzo che cucinava con tutta la calma del mondo nonostante stessimo morendo di fame. una volta chiese spiegazioni, il ragazzo alla cassa ci ha spiegato che i panini li stavano ancora facendo. dopo aver ricevuto i panini, abbiamo notato che ce li avevano dati pure sbagliati. in fin dei conti abbiamo perso la processione, abbiamo mangiato i panini sbagliati nonostante già avessimo pagato e abbiamo aspettato un ora.i panini buonissimi,per carità, però è...
