Locanda Ai Dogi — Restaurant in Pieve di Cadore

My partner and I ordered the tris canederli and lime and green tea chicken and we were offered to have salad or potatoes with the chicken, so we picked the salad. It wasn’t made clear to us that the salad was extra but it came up on the bill as an extra €6.5.

The chicken was really yummy but we didn’t feel particularly welcome. There were heaps of empty tables and we hadn’t made a booking, but when we arrived it seemed like an inconvenience that we were there, by the time we left only one other table had been taken. Beers by the glass weren’t on the menu.

Ho recentemente visitato la Locanda ai Dogi e, sebbene l'esperienza culinaria sia stata nel complesso positiva, ci sono alcuni aspetti che meritano una riflessione più critica.

Partiamo dagli aspetti positivi: il cibo è davvero buono. I piatti sono preparati con ingredienti freschi e di qualità, e le porzioni sono generose. Il menu offre una buona varietà di opzioni, che spaziano dai classici della cucina locale a proposte più innovative. Il servizio è stato cortese e professionale, contribuendo a rendere il pasto piacevole. Inoltre, il prezzo dei piatti è giusto e adeguato alla qualità offerta.

Tuttavia, ciò che mi ha lasciato perplesso sono stati i prezzi delle bevande. Pagare 8,50 euro per una birra da 0,5 L (Birra a mio parere di fascia media) mi sembra eccessivo, anche considerando la qualità del cibo. Questo elemento ha sicuramente influito sulla mia valutazione complessiva. Ritengo che una maggiore attenzione al rapporto qualità-prezzo delle bevande e di alcune portate potrebbe rendere l'esperienza più equilibrata e soddisfacente per i clienti.

In conclusione, la Locanda ai Dogi è un buon ristorante con una cucina di buon livello, ma i prezzi, specialmente delle bevande, sono un punto debole che potrebbe scoraggiare una parte della clientela. Con qualche aggiustamento in questo senso, potrebbe facilmente salire nella mia classifica personale.
