We stayed here unexpectedly when an apartment we booked turned out to be double booked. We were booked in here by the apartment owner.||||This is a modern hotel with a locally owned feel. This is not a chain Hotel! It's quite stark inside and straight onto a busy road. It's spotlessly clean and the owner (I think) and staff very friendly and accommodating. It almost feels like the whole community has a hand in the hotel. Expecting to be in an apartment we had several bags of food which they happily kept in the hotels fridges.||The rooms, again stark but comfortable, and perfectly clean. The room had a shared balcony with potted trees between the rooms, and with a view of the village and the mountains.||||The hotel has a large and well appointed venue room with a terrace. Would be ideal for a business conference or wedding. ||These a small car park at the front of the hotel and one further up the road to the back of the hotel which we didn't find. ||||The restaurant was menu free. And has our Italian isn't up to scratch we were offered pasta and meat or fish. The pasta dish's are homemade and delicious, the meat, stake and chips with salad. I'm sure they would cook anything you asked for, but we were happy with the surprise. Followed by a sweet and homemade icecream.. We were offered homemade wine or a choice from the rack we opted for the homemede. This is a light fresh wine. Then topped off with homemade Limonchello very very nice, worth the visit on it's own.||Breakfast is typical Italian, bread, toasts, homemade jams and marmalades, and cakes (like apple pie :) ) plus orange and coffee or tea. ||The price was very reasonable compared with eating out anywhere else.||||Pimonte was ideal for our holiday base, we had a hire car, but the hotel is on the SITA bus route (buy your tickets in advance) I'm sure the hotel would sort them for you. I'd recommend using the bus rather than driving yourself. It's close to Pompeii and The Vesuvius and between Amalfi and Sorrento in the Latarii Mountains. Good walking possible straight from the door. Pimonte itself is a busy village, but off the tourist track, unlike everywhere else in the area. The road outside is the main route to the Amalfi coast, so expect it to be busy. Also alot of shooting on the weekend.||When we arrived the there was a party of 36 French school children who were amazingly well behaved and 3 teachers. The hotel had extra staff for this, and...

Read moreTo start off, if youâre traveling to see the Amalfi coast or any places nearby, the location of this hotel is terrible. Near a poverty area which did not make me or my family feel safe. The parking area is marked with red graffiti which I found super unprofessional. The door frames are being held by tape in the room we were given which is unbelievable because it just looks and feels low quality. The no refund policy is a obvious because once you get to this hotel you want to leave immediately but the âno refundâ policy probably keeps a lot of customers here because they donât want to throw 200-300⏠down the drain. My family and me did though, this place is just a sad example of a hotel. Definitely do...
