Masseria Mancini — Restaurant in Polignano a Mare

Booked a room for one night for a restful and peaceful last night of our tour of puglia. First impression driving up was great, but that quickly turned sour. A party was in full swing with loud music pumping out below our room. We tried to rest, but was impossible! We went out and returned at midnight to find the A/C not working so spent a restless night with little sleep and mosquito bites as we had to have the windows open. Breakfast in the morning consisted of cake, warm yogurt and Luke warm coffee!! No preparation table setting/ Covid precautions were non existent and our relaxation ruined again as the grass was being cut right beside the breakfast area🤬 On discussion with the manager, we were told not to worry paying as he didn’t want us to have a “bad experience “ we asked 3 times if he was sure and he replied “Yes “. 5:30pm the same day we receive an email threatening police action as we had left without paying!!! Lovely farmhouse located 10 min outside of Pogliano. We had a Junior Suite in the original house which is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was the nicest room we've stayed in during our two week trip. ||||However for this price you expect more than just beautiful accommodation. A private party was being held and (very) loud dance music underneath our room was blaring until 2am. Little regard shown to guests.||||Unfortunately the breakfast is not good. No fruit, no croissants, no fresh bread, no orange juice. Cakes and warm (no refridgerator) yogurts. ||||A little more effort on these details and this place could...
