Ristorante Il Ficodindia — Restaurant in Polignano a Mare

We were a group of 7 plus a baby and 2 dogs and they were very accommodating. They didn't really have food for kids, so the baby got just pasta with tomato sauce, but would have been nice if there was a ragu sauce so he could have some meat. But they brought out the food for him ASAP which was very kind. We also ordered an assortment of dishes including pasta, meat and fish. But to start we all shared the antipasto of the restaurant with 12 types of dishes, all very very good and highly recommended. I got the filetto al pepe verde - while the meat was cooked to what I asked, the pepe verde sauce wasn't quite right and a little disappointing. But my friends enjoyed their other dishes so maybe i just picked the wrong one. Staff was very friendly but hard to get their attention as they were running around to keep up with food coming out and orders going in. The outside dining was beautifully set up and tables at a good distance from each other and masks being worn by staff the entire time and guests until being seated. We were staying nearby and were just looking for a pizza to takeaway and chanced upon this place. Nothing exceptional from outside but indoor was so bustling with locals, it being a Sunday, and animated with a birthday party in the big hall and the food that came out looks amazing..the head waiter was very nice and was very fast with our order, despite being so busy. No pizzas for lunch but we ordered the pastas which were really fabulous and very good priced. We regretted not having our lunch/dinner there. I guess reservation is required. Highly...

Frequento questa pizzeria/ristorante oramai da circa trent'anni, festeggiando anche eventi importanti (battesimo e comunione di mia figlia) e siamo stati abbastanza soddisfatti di tutto. Ahimè, invece, nelle ultime due volte è stata una grande delusione!

Telefonicamente, una settimana prima, al cameriere delle prenotazioni avevo largamente spiegato quale fosse la nostra esigenza: riservare un tavolo vicino all'ingresso per permettere a una persona anziana con problemi di deambulazione di raggiungere facilmente il tavolo. L'addetto alla prenotazione ha risposto che se non ci fossero stati ricevimenti lo avrebbe riservato per noi, cmq in ogni modo avrebbe tenuto conto della nostra richiesta. Al nostro arrivo, una brutta sorpresa, il nostro tavolo era collocato su una pavimentazione di pietra con pendenza.. immaginate il disagio per l'anziana signora. Dopo aver visto che al posto indicato non c'era nessun ricevimento e che la nostra postazione non era comoda per noi ci siamo lamentati senza aver purtroppo avuto alcun risolto positivo.

Al mio avviso allo stato attuale il locale e soprattutto il personale non è affatto inclusivo e attento alle esigenze della clientela (soprattutto nei confronti di persone con problemi di salute).

I camerieri erano in piena confusione e a volte anche maleducati.

Abbiamo ricevuto la pizza dopo due ore dall'ordine.

I servizi igienici preferisco non ricordare.
