This is my favorite place to eat in Pompei. We were in town for a few days, and my only regret is that we did not find this one sooner, so we could go more often.
If, like me, you are struggling with your Italian, there is a young woman working there who speaks English very well.
They make a delicious pizza, and they will put anything on it that you prefer (if they have it, of course). Portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Two of us had enough for dinner and saved a couple of pieces for breakfast.
Also I recommend the sfogliatella, and if you would like a taste of history, they sell a loaf of Panis Pompeii which is made from ancient grains and sweetened with honey, raisins and walnuts. They recommend to try it with marmalade or honey, but it is delicious all on its own!

The owners--a husband and wife--got to know us and even held our baby. We also got to know one of the workers, Daniela, who has perfect English. And met an Auntie whom we later ran into in another part of town. We saw the ruins of Pompeii which were breathtaking, but I'll be honest, I can't wait to come back and visit friends and have the most delicious pizza I've ever tasted. Ooh! And get a pastry when you're done. I can't even pick a favorite cause they were all...

Made with regional ingredients from Mount Vesuvius and the Sorrento Coast -- this slow and specially fermented dough of spelt flour, milk, butter, eggs and honey is enriched with nuts, figs and raisins and kissed with anise and cinnamon. I couldn't help but eat half the loaf...
