This hotel is a really mixed bag. The positive is the wonderful pool and beautifully maintained gardens, it really did feel like an oasis. The breakfast was disappointing, poor quality offering in an area abundant with agriculture and fresh produce. The poolside evening meals looked promising but focused on fish and seafood but then the menu told you that almost everything was from frozen source (even so close to the coast), it was our most expensive meal in our fortnight in Italy and poorest quality (with a loud Club Ibiza style music back drop). The room was clean, bathroom good, air con good but bedroom fittings felt and smelt musty. The younger family staff members were warm, friendly and accommodating. The main reception rooms were stuffed with rows of tables and chairs, and it would be worth avoiding stays when functions are on as this is clearly a big focus for this hotel. Conveniently placed for beach resorts, free parking, but not an attractive town for a evening stroll or for finding alternative places to eat. This could be a great hotel but it needs to offer tourists simple, fresh, tasty Italian food at prices in line with other...

Premetto che da anni coltivavo il sogno di immergermi nella bella piscina di questo hotel , notata in occasione di feste invernali, ospitate in tale sede e nelle quali ho presenziato come ospite, colgo l'occasione di offrirne la possibilità a mia figlia, che assieme ad un piccolo gruppo di amiche, mi chiede raggiante, di poter festeggiare proprio qui il suo 17° compleanno, con un apericena serale, preceduto però da un lunghissimo bagno pomeridiano , nella fatidica piscina. Il tutto naturalmente dietro prenotazione ed accordi preliminari con i diversi titolari e/o gestori, sia telefonicamente che personalmente. |Beh, che dire, da immaginare la delusione delle ragazze nel constatare la realtà dell'acqua per questo giorno tanto atteso! |Essendomi offerta di andare a prendere a casa altre due amiche di mia figlia, mentre lei , lasciata da me alla reception con le prime arrivate, aveva già raggiunto il bordo piscina, sopraggiunta di nuovo sul luogo con il resto del gruppetto, ho constato non solo con i miei occhi l'aspetto torbido dell'acqua, ma ancor di più la profonda delusione negli occhi di tutte le ragazzine e soprattutto la mortificazione negli occhi di mia figlia. |Non potevo permettere tanta delusione. |La cosa che più mi è dispiaciuta è stata venire a sapere che mia figlia stessa è stata con insistenza invitata dal proprietario, a tuffarsi in tale acqua, per recuperare un retino che a lui era lì caduto e che lei immergendosi abbia oltre al triste colore abbia anche notato ciuffetti di capelli altrui ed escrementi di volatili. Perché mia figlia si è tuffata comunque? Perché tendenzialmente si fida troppo di tutti, ma qui il rimprovero credo non debba andare solo a lei? |Morale della favola? Ho accompagnato tutto il gruppetto del compleanno in un'altra piscina poco fuori comune, pulita ed accogliente, non prima di avere interagito con la signora della reception, spiegandole e ricordandole che ci eravamo comunque accordate nei giorni precedenti, comunicandole che mi si sarebbe spezzato il cuore, nel rovinare il giorno del compleanno di mia figlia, che pur se in piccolo e tra mille difficoltà personali, volevo fosse lieto. Ho anche dato la mia parola che, come da accordi, avrei riaccompagnato al loro ristorante, le ragazze in tempo per l'apericena. Naturalmente, probabilmente, avendo un rapporto non ottimo con le "parole date", la signora ha voluto un giusto acconto. |Dopo diversi giri in macchina per accompagnare tutti, l'apericena è stato presso tal luogo, puntualmente servito e consumato. |Giudizio della piccola comitiva sullo spuntino : discreto|Ottimo riguardo solo la simpatia di uno dei camerieri. ||Firmato |Giusy||Una mamma con...
