Osteria La Ferrata — Restaurant in Pordenone

My husband and I were in Pordenone and found La Ferrata on TripAdvisor. We were definitely not disappointed!! We shared the cheese plate which was so delicious and came with two sauces; one pomodoro and one fig. They perfectly complemented the cheeses. Next, my husband had the ravioli which was creamy and delicious. I had the steak and roasted potatoes. I asked for another portion of the sauces to complement my steak and potatoes and it was fantastic! A small dip of pomodoro sauce on the steak was so complementary while the fig sauce went perfectly with the salty potatoes (the salty-sweet combination!). I finished off the meal with the gelato with berries. We both had a shot of limoncello. The restaurant seemed to be packed with locals which is always a good sign! We would recommend La Ferrata to locals...

Sebbene in tanti anni di lavoro ho alloggiato in tanti hotel e mangiato in tanti ristoranti ed osterie, non avevo mai avvertito alcuna esigenza personale di catalogare e comunicare le mie sensazioni su queste esperienze. Peccato perché, non avendolo fatto, ho perso un po' dei miei ricordi e del mio vissuto. Qualcosa però è recentemente cambiato. Forse anche grazie alle emozioni di una cena in centro a Pordenone. E allora oggi, A.D. 2022, inizio a fare il (re)censore da l' "Osteria La Ferrata", un'Osteria con la "O" maiuscola proprio in pieno centro a Pordenone. Personale che sa accogliere, piatti della tradizione con una rivisitazione smart ma certamente non invasiva. Accurata scelta di vini, anche al bicchiere. Prezzo: 25 euro a testa.
