Would probably more accurately give this place 4.5, as it had many pluses and a couple minuses. The location was great; right on the beach. Beautiful setting as the sun went down. We ordered off the combination menu. I ordered the combo with three different pastas and what I thought was a choice of four appetizers. Turns out it was all four appetizers. I’ve never seen so much food in front of me. And I still had the pasta to come. The combo menu includes 1/4 L of wine, 1/2L of water and the service (2€). As for the taste, the seafood salad was very good, the fried seafood platter was good, the anti pasta was very nice and the mussels were just okay. All three of the pastas were delicious when they came out. But I honestly had eaten so much, I didn’t enjoy them as much as I should have. Dessert - yes of course there was dessert - was a delicious lemon gelato with a lemon drizzle. All that for 30€. I probably won’t need to eat for a week. We also ordered a salad each but it wasn’t great. Mostly bland lettuce and some underripe tomatoes. My wife had a pasta as her first dish which she really enjoyed but wisely didn’t eat all of it. Then she had a roasted fish as her second. It came as a whole fish with the head on. That was a little off-putting for her but it was very good. TL:DR - good location and atmosphere. Very good prices. Most items were delicious. Don’t bother...
Read moreThe food was amazing - especially the mixed grilled seafood but the pizza was also great. The wine and the pizza were very fair priced. The mixed grilled vegetables seemed to be expensive on first glance but they would have been big enough to share. We sat at a table in the sand which was a nice atmosphere. There is a terrace too though if you don't want to get sandy feet. We arrived at 7pm, right when they opened. We had to wait a little while for our food but we didn't mind because we got the drinks right away. The waiters were friendly and spoke English. We also enjoyed the background music which was rock and pop classics (Queen, David...
Read moreThis restaurant delivered failure on every level. The service was dismissive and unprofessional, with staff showing little respect or courtesy toward guests. Communication was poor, and requests were met with irritation rather than assistance.
The food was unacceptable. Both the Scoglio and Vigata dishes were nearly inedible — bland, poorly prepared, and of a quality far below even basic standards. Instead of showcasing Sicilian cuisine, the meal left a lasting sense of disappointment.
Altogether, this was not only the worst restaurant of our trip, but one of the worst dining experiences ever encountered. It should be avoided...
