Ristorante Tropico Latino — Restaurant in Porto Recanati

Abbiamo prenotato una sera a cena in questo locale e ci è stato riservato un tavolo attaccato alla vetrata fronte mare. Vista bellissima ma, a rovinarci la serata ci ha pensato il personale del ristorante. Ci sediamo nel locale semivuoto e iniziamo ordinando il bere, tra cui mezzo litro di vino. Arriva l'acqua per mia moglie e la bibita per mia figlia. Vino niente. Dopo 20 minuti arrivano gli antipasti freddi (quantità: un cucchiaio da minestra di insalata di mare con un gambero a testa intrisi di aceto bianco). Chiedo del mio vino che finalmente arriva ad antipasti già consumati. Passano altri 20 minuti e arriva la grigliata di pesce per 2 composta da 2 mini gallinelle, una mini coda di rospo, un mini spiedino di calamari e una mini orata a testa. Tutto pesce asciutto e stopposo che sembrava roba del pranzo riscaldata. Ma qui arriva il bello. Chiediamo al cameriere del resto degli antipasti, dato che avevamo ordinato quello completo che prevedeva anche degli antipasti caldi come cozze e lumachine. Il cameriere, molto sicuro e determinato, ci rispondeva convinto che gli antipasti caldi ce li aveva già portati ed era già stato a ritirare i piatti vuoti. Io e mia moglie siamo rimasti sbigottiti dalla risposta del cameriere al quale abbiamo ribadito che quelle pietanze non ci erano mai state portate. A quel punto, il cameriere, non convinto (e quindi facendoci passare da bugiardi) si congedava con un "adesso vado in cucina e verifico". Al suo ritorno, anziché chiedere scusa, si rivolgeva a mia moglie con la seguente frase "forse signora ha ragione lei. Che faccio, ve li porto lo stesso?" Noi, ovviamente gli abbiamo risposto di sì, ma sarebbe stato da alzarsi e andarsene via per come siamo stati trattati. Cosa voleva dire con quel FORSE? This restaurant is located just in front if the sea and there is plenty of parking options around so that it is not so difficult to find a space for your car. The ambiance is welcoming and relaxed nothing to be amazed at but it still is nice and comfortable and the place is very spacious. Your kids will be able to play around with no one complaining. We loved the food in this restaurant that serves delicious Italian seafood dishes. Its by the ocean so you can smell the breeze of the ocean while eating.
