We live not far from here and thought we’d give them a try. It’s okay.

Seemed a popular place on a Friday night - especially for pizza. Perhaps they all knew what we didn’t, as we ordered a bit of everything EXCEPT pizza. It was all okay, nothing to rush back for.

I had the orchietti with ricotta and spinach and it hot and filling but rather mild in flavor. Followed by veal scallopini in lemon sauce that was good.

My son ordered zuppe di cozze and he got a huge bowl of mussels, which he said were good - not great. The zeppolini were hot but again bland, perhaps not homemade.

My wife had the seafood antipasto and it came with two plates: first cold seafood and second hot. Again just okay. Her salad was swimming in oil…

Usually when we dine out there is at least one dish that we all enjoy and would return for, here? Not so much. Perhaps we will return and...

Open every day with reliably delicious food, it's become a favorite of ours. They have the best fried calamari and panna cotta (!) and delicious house red wine (Frizzante). The restaurant is a family business with very sweet staff (some of whom speak English). I recommend the cozze al gratin (not fishy), calamari fritta, tagliata (steak salad) and panna cotta. Those dishes are the absolute best I've had in the area. My husband swears the bread is the best he's had in Italy, too. They have a great beer and wine selection, and a very nice outdoor patio with a turtle in the garden.

Sono stato ieri sera per la prima volta , abbiamo preso un tavolo per 4 , 2 adulti e 2 bambini , e l accoglienza di chi gestiva la sala è stata molto positiva (un signore che non ricordo il nome) . Abbiamo chiesto del menù fisso e per i bambini che avevano già cenato solo sfizi da stuzzicare . L antipasto da 6 portate era buono , bruschetta , salmone , polipo ,zeppoline, cozze e conchiglie ripiene gratinate. Come primo abbiamo preso linguine ai frutti di mare, e devo dire che sia il gusto che la preparazione era ottimo. Come secondo non abbiamo scelto tra le disponibilità ma ci è stato portato il fritto di calamari e gamberi , che comunque avremmo scelto ( per fortuna che non era l orata al forno😅). Come valutazione devo dire che tranne il primo piatto che meritava veramente , il resto delle porzioni erano leggermente povere , sopratutto il fritto finale.Ma qualità del pesce e la freschezza valgono. Il calamaro è il gambero erano buoni e freschi, e questo è quello che conta.Bibite incluse nel prezzo menù fisso. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante, per freschezza e per gentilezza e professionalità , dalla signora in cassa a chi gestiva la sala, fino alle cameriere tutte dedite al cliente....
