Alpine Restaurant Piz Arlara — Restaurant in Pustertal - Val Pusteria

Nice location with nice views. Unfortunately very disappointing service. In the afternoon we ordered a Bombardino and a Spezi on the terrace. When we ordered the drinks we immediately had to pay for it (€ 9.10 for two drinks, solid price, but OK it is in the middle of the ski-area). Some time later the waitress brought the two ordered drinks but also added two fruit schnapps. We thought this was a kindly present from the restaurant, a bit early in the day for us to drink alcohol, but OK. We tasted a little bit of one of the schnapps, but we didn't liked it and didn't touched it anymore. Some time later the waitress came again and told us she made a mistake and the schnapps wasn't meant for us, but nevertheless she asked us to pay for the two schnapps (€9,-). We refused because we didn't ordered the schapps. The waitress did not agree with this. She said two times: 'schäme dich' (blame on you) and 'du musst nie wieder zurückkommen' (never ever come back). We have never experienced such a treament before, such a pitty this experience for the friendly Italian Tirolian alps. The waitress cursed us to never come back and certainly we will not come back again to Alpine...

Piz Arlara is not just an Alpine Restaurant in the heart of Dolomites, but one of the most cozy places I have ever been. Combined with extraordinary food-magnificent mix of typical cuisine with pinch of secret ingredients and obviously- love, great services, nice music and incredible atmosphere it makes it a spot to remember and to dream to come back. I like the friendly attitude of the owners, tasty food and convenient location and hope I will have the chance to explore a bit more from the menu, the wines and the communication with these kind people there :-) A piece of my

Firstly I had to wait for about 20 minutes before anyone even took my order, not because of my lack of trying. Afterwards after about 50 minutes of wait( predicted 30 according to the waitress) 2 out of 6 dishes served and after audible bickering from the kitchen, (not to mention attempt at giving orders of a different table) the dishes arrived.
