My daughter, wife and I spent 3 nights here. The reception clerks were very helpful and provided a map and information brochure that contained useful tips on hikes that we could do in the nearby area. The setting and 'look' of the hotel are reminiscent of chalets in the Swiss Alps, but it is located in the Dolomites in northern Italy. Our room was 2 doors down the hall from our daughter's. The outside temperature at night got down to the mid or high 50 degrees Fahrenheit; I don't know what the room would feel like in mid-summer when it might not be as cool at night. We had a view of the mountains in the distance. The rooms are not air-conditioned but our room was comfortably cool at night, with the window open. Our daughter reported that her room was a bit warm at night, even with a room fan. The property is about an hour's walk from the nearby town of San Cassiano, Our room was spacious and well-lit. It had 2 separate bathrooms; one had a bathtub, the other room had a shower. It had a large walk-in closet. The one downside to our room was that the shower was very very small -- it was an enclosure like you'd see on a cruise ship. There was barely enough room to move in that enclosure. You're standing in sort of a circular enclosure where the doors meet in the middle. Just like showers I've seen on cruise ships. Very strange given that the bathroom and sleeping area were both sizeable, so I wonder why the shower enclosure was so tiny. As mentioned, all of the front desk staff were most helpful and friendly, answering our questions and pointing us to places where we could hike. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle bus which I used after coming down from the mountain near San Cassiano. After calling for a ride, the driver appeared in less than 10 minutes. We had breakfast each morning at the hotel. You could order eggs and pancakes off the menu and also enjoy meats, fruit, and cheese at the buffet. We found the wait staff very friendly and accommodating. One day I had lunch at the restaurant -- spaghetti bolognese and a Coke. Perfetto. We had dinner reservations elsewhere, so I can't comment on what the dinners were like. This is a nice hotel in a beautiful valley in...

This international hotel exceeds all expectations. We were fortunate enough to stay a number of days in a suite. The room is more of an apartment than a hotel room and includes a lounge area, two flat screen TVs, a coffee pod machine, a second, separate toilet, very large bathroom with bath and separate large shower. A double verandah spectacular views towards Dolomite cliffs. Numerous cupboards, shelves and a separate walk-in robe. The large double bed has quality pillows and doona. Doors lead out to the verandah from the bedroom and lounge areas. A safe bar fridge is also provided. The staff are all highly trained in customer service and are extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Every one is treated like an individual guest. We had dinner in the restaurant most nights and can confirm that the service and 4 course meals are first rate. Breakfast every morning is a mix of continental and table service. Service and choice leaves nothing wanting. If available during your stay, the special multi course lunch served at the hotel's alpine lodge should not be missed. There is a variety of Dolomites walks available from the hotel. The knowledgeable and friendly staff can advise on suggested walks.|The hotels Wellness Centre is excellent and if time permits, should not be missed. Swimming pool, sauna, steam room, spa, gym - the hotel has it all! It's a wonderful...

We checked-in 3 hours ago, this hotel is not a 4 star hotel. This hotel is better than Burj Al Arab in Dubai which claims to be 7 stars. This is the most romantic most detailed most attentive hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. The staff literally carries you on their hands. The restaurant is beyond outstanding, it's a Michelin star level restaurant. I am absolutely blown away by this hotel. Glenda: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This hotel is nothing without its staff and they sure have the best staff in Europe. They came to the parking to receive us when we arrived and they accompanied us step by step to the room! This is a HOME not a hotel! We are really family guests here.

This hotel really has it all. Helpful, friendly staff, amazing food, and a relaxing spa. We spent every morning exploring the area (Cortina and Seceda are both about 45- 1 hr away), then the afternoon in the sauna and hot tub, followed by a drink at the bar with all the little snacks, and then dinner at the restaurant or a recommendation from concierge. Breakfast was such a treat to look forward to every morning, and the wine cellar is not to be missed. Restaurant quality food at every meals We are excited to plan a trip to the Dolomites again and stay here. Surrounded by beautiful mountains- this really is a gem.

Giving 5-star because there is no 10. Luxury boutique hotel with great amenities, e.g., pool, sauna (dry, steam), IR room, Turkish bath, hot tub, & massage room. Awesome 4 restaurants and bars on site. On site breakfast was fresh with cook to order with variety of delicious fresh options. Super welcoming staff, helpful and service. Great location with walking trails, and close to ski /hike resorts with cable cars. Room was relatively small but still efficient with amazing balcony and view. Highly recommending this place.
