There are two parts to this restaurant, one is made to be fancier, and the other one is more fast food like. In the bottom (fast food like), there is never any free sitting space and the food is very expensive for what it is (a food kiosk basically), the prices in the bottom part of the restaurant is also not justified by the taste of the food which is under average. Then, there is the upper part of the restaurant (or at least a wannabe restaurant) in which the atmosphere is nice, the waiters are OK, but the food is disgusting. We ordered lasagna, spaghetti, and burgers. In the whole burger, there wasn't a single good thing ( which from a 17€ burger you would expect, the cheese was not melted. Instead of bacon, there was prosciutto. To be honest, a McDonalds burger is infinitely better than the disgrace served here. Lasagna was also underaverage. There was almost no meat in it, just the bechamel. Spaghetti and macaroni were not big enough to feed our 9 year old, and they were 16€. While the restaurant itself is pleasant, bright, and welcoming, there is another main restaurant located under the cable car that is much larger in size and boasts an incredible view. However, it is self-service, meaning you won't have a dedicated waiter attending to your needs. Ultimately, the choice between the two restaurants will depend on your personal preferences, but both offer enjoyable dining experiences in...
Read moreAfter 40 years on Kronplatz one of my favorit places to start the skiing day becomes too greedy. We started evry day woth a cofee or hot chocolat but this year I managed to skip it every day. Why? First they made the restaurant on the first floor"exlusive" just for the special gursts with reservations, than the prices went up too much and finaly when they started to charge going to toilet with 1 euro it was just too much. We pay too much money for skipass to be extra charged for everything and restaurants should know that. Maybe ww do not order every time something when we use it but most of the times we do, we bring our friends, our guests, our families... It is just not the way to treat...
