I am with my family and our grand kids are both under three years old. Where to eat in Colfosco when most restaurants open at 1900 hrs and the kids go to bed at that time? Well, this place is open all day and so turning up at 1730 was not an issue. In fact, the restaurant was empty apart from us so there was no pressure to worry about any noise they created. Siamo spesso a pranzo al ristorante o per lavoro o per diletto ma mai trovato una situazione del genere. Mangiato spaghetti crudi aglio olio e peperoncino con pomodoro che erano totalmente insapori, salsiccia con polenta mediocre ma il problema principale è che con la scusa che la cameriera o capisce poco l'italiano o finge di non capirlo al momento dell'ordine del vino (espressamente chiesto vino sfuso e quindi non consultando la loro lista dei vini proposta in evidenza) mi ha portato un vino in una caraffa e non in bottiglia di qualità infima facendomi pagare per quella brodaglia quasi 16 euro per 1/2 litro. Alla mia richiesta di spiegazioni circa l'importo spropositato per un vino richiesto sfuso, si giustificavano dicendo che avevano aperto una bottiglia (mai vista) e che aveei dovuto chiedere un vino della casa. Io ho chiesto un vino sfuso, quindi della casa ma questo giochetto lo conoscono in molti e ti rifilano un vino del valore di pochi euro per un vino da esperti sommelier. Gli altri ristoratori del posto dovrebbero indignarsi per certi comportamenti che screditano il loro serio operato. Impeccable service compared to what we have experience in the Dolomites so far...not to mention friendly welcoming staff and very hearty food. We dined both days here and the pasta dishes were incredible (quite reasonable too), I also tried the Venison medallions and the weinerschnitzel which was delicious.
