Schlosskeller — Restaurant in Pustertal - Val Pusteria

The reasons for my poor votes are the following: first, we kindly asked to sit on a table, we had made a reservation, but they told us we couldn’t because it was a table for four people, after 10 minutes another party of two came in and they made them sit exactly on that table which was supposedly for 4 people… when I asked why they could, they made up a very bad excuse. Of course it’s their restaurant and they can do what they want, but don’t make up obvious excuses. then, the first courses were very good, but way too salty…we had to drink all night. last, they mistook our main course, a bratwurst with a sausage which was not a problem, so ok they changed the bratwurst with the sausage but, instead of giving us also fresh side dishes, they simply reheated on the grill the previous potato wedges and the crouts which became burnt and definitely the potato wedges not crunchy. One more thing I noticed, they put in the baskets the bread they serve on the table using their hands instead of a bread tongs; the same hands they use to receive payments by cash and clean tables. Overall also the service was not very empathetic and friendly. Definitely I would not...

To all people who visit Toblach please dine in thia restuatant. It’s a must.

We are Thai, feel so welcoming by the owner and his staffs! It ia so cozy likes you eat at your friend’s house!!

Every dishes we ordered are delicious, tasty and fresh. Things cooked on the grill are outstanding, beef, shrimp, chicken, rip and vegetables!

Beer and wine are available with various options! Tap beer, red, white sparkling wine, Italian drink and others.

Parking is not easy, we walked here from...

The waitress was friendly enough despite the communication problem at the begining. Since the menu is in german/italian we tried to order in german, then she asked for us to speak english instead and then failed to understand which beer we would like. Luckily my husband speaks italian as well :D
