Tucked away on the outskirts of Radicondoli we discovered its best kept secret. In this newly opened restaurant we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes and the service was excellent. So friendly and warm hearted. The owners told us they have only been open for less than a week.
We sat outside and there is plenty of space. Couldn't fault the food, it was delicious!! Our favourite meal all week! We were given a really tasty starter, a pastry dish made with aubergine and cheese, which is made differently depending on the region and the Chef. There is parking right next door too. We will be back...
Read moreWe love Il Granaio, dined here twice during our stay in Radicondoli. You could not find more sincere, hardworking people than the chef/owner and his staff. They aim to please you. The food and menu are excellent! Everything we tried is excellent, but we especially loved the wild boar stew and eggplant parmigiana. The prices are reasonable, and the house wine is quite good. The restaurant is spacious (including outdoor seating), service is good, and the ambience is lovely (including the music…Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin playing softly in the background, making it a warm and upbeat environment). Please bring them your business while in Radicondoli, you will not regret it. As a newer restaurant in town, they already stand tall among the competition. We...
Read moreWe visited Il Granaio several times and each occasion was an absolute pleasure. Staff are warm and welcoming, the choice of local dishes is great, with some mouthwatering, hearty specials such as cacciucco and pappa al pomodoro. Cinghiale in umido is outstanding! The choice of wines remains local, with some nice Chantis and the house red is a good bet too. Prices are very reasonable. By our second visit we felt we had been coming here for years. Highly recommended for a relaxed night out and not to be missed on your visit to...
