I post very few reviews, but this was such a treasure I just have to give 'em a shout out. I picked this place based on location (Rapallo close to E80) and great Google reviews. It exceeded my expectations, and this after more than a week in Italy, eating very well from Bologna to Turin. It's a down home place featuring local color and fantastic food, with many locals and few tourists, making it a rich and rewarding experience. It's a simple but very satisfying 3 course meal, with choices for each course. They don't speak much English, but are warm and very hospitable. And all the usuals are included with each menu selection -- the 3 course lunch (14 euro) comes with both water and wine, and the optional dolce add-on (3 euro) comes with espresso -- great food, great service, in a great location at great prices.
