Punto A Capo — Restaurant in Rapallo

I post very few reviews, but this was such a treasure I just have to give 'em a shout out. I picked this place based on location (Rapallo close to E80) and great Google reviews. It exceeded my expectations, and this after more than a week in Italy, eating very well from Bologna to Turin. It's a down home place featuring local color and fantastic food, with many locals and few tourists, making it a rich and rewarding experience. It's a simple but very satisfying 3 course meal, with choices for each course. They don't speak much English, but are warm and very hospitable. And all the usuals are included with each menu selection -- the 3 course lunch (14 euro) comes with both water and wine, and the optional dolce add-on (3 euro) comes with espresso -- great food, great service, in a great location at great prices. Parking can be a real problem ... but there's a co-op close by with plenty of mid-day parking which I found and used, and made a point of buying there before and after we took the short walk to...

This summer we had the pleasure of visiting Punto A Capo which completely exceeded our expectations. Amazing little restaurant a bit outside of the downtown area. The menu options are listed by the wait staff and the prices are extremely reasonable. The price includes primi, secondo, side dish and wine. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Rapallo and want to experience some homemade food and all the different Italian...
